In this episode, Lufthansa flight 423 (Airbus A340-300), departs from Boston bound for Frankfurt when the aircraft strikes a bird. The pilot radios the tower, requesting to level off to 10,000 feet to assess an issue. The engine is badly vibrating, so the pilot determines that a return to Boston is the best course of action. The aircraft circles back to the airport after dumping fuel. Follow Amy Tango Charlie on Twitter: https://twitter.com/atoocpodcast
