You ever have those feelings bubble up & you think 'oh hell no, I don't have time to deal with this' so you run for the email, the social feed, the cocktail, the muffin.
You find yourself ending your day feeling exhausted, like you went through war & your family gets the left over pieces of you.
Sunday scaries get the best of you? You starting thinking about Monday & within 5 minutes you're already knee deep in the rollercoaster of guilt, fear, and anxiety while you body hasn't even left the room your in.
What does this 'stuck' feeling really mean and how can we use it as a guiding force versus the demon we think it is.
We'll unpack all that and more on this weeks episode of attention to intention.

Another month, another feature of our #shareyourstory monthly episodes.
On this feature of #shareyourstory, I am pleased to share with you a conversation with a badass, authentic human being that is living her truth and kicking peoples asses on and off the treadmill.
A dear friend, someone who pushed me on my fitness journey and just an amazing human, Katie Costalas. Katie is owner of a local boutique gym here in Center City Philadelphia called RippedPHL.
In this episode, we talk about some hard life shit that we can all relate to:

The elusive unicorn called happiness - is it real? What does it mean? How can we get some?
Spoiler alert, it's not from getting the inbox to zero, getting the nicer car or kitchen renovation, or getting into those pants that you haven't been able to fit into for years.
We chase our whole life down this path of 'happiness' to this present we've promised on the other side and once we get there, we're disappointed with what we find.
In this episode of Attention to Intention, we talk about how we can find this mythical creature in our everyday life.

You wake up and the first thing you tell yourself is how much you suck because you forgot to send that email, do that thing for your kids, text that person back & this is all before you leave the bathroom?
This episode is for YOU!
In this episode, we talk about how the power of pause really is a gift & not a sign of weakness (like the world would like us to believe).
We review a few little microsteps that you can infuse in your day to have you connecting with the person that truly knows what is best for you - your gut.
Nothing happens in the real world until it happens in our head first & the only way those thoughts can get clear is if we gift ourselves the power of pause.

You Beautiful Humans - We are going a little rogue and including two #shareyourstories in the month of February (throwing all sorts of caution to the wind)
My dear friend & amazing human being, Scarlett Lewis, shares a beautiful message of forgiveness and choosing love and what a better time to share this message then right now, today.
I love to hear Scarlett's passion for this movement, how she describes how this path was chosen for her and how she has taken grief & morphed it into choosing love & helping us choose love for the most difficult person in our lives...ourselves.
Scarlett Lewis founded the nonprofit Jesse Lewis Choose Love Movement after her six year old sons murder in the Sandy Hook tragedy in 2012. She has been passionately working for almost 9 years to bring this movement of choosing love into schools, homes, and corporations.

We can all look back at moments in our life and think THANK GOD, X went the way it did as it lead me to X (infuse any life moment here).
As serendipitous as it is, those times of light always come after the darkest times.
In this episode of Attention to Intention, we talk about the power that comes as we age through life & the wisdom, self-reflection, & courage it gives us to begin to lean into our true calling.
During this episode, we'll talk about leaning into this season of your life, what it's drawing you to & the courage to lean into it instead of run from it.

My Beautiful Friends - I am so excited to share this soulful conversation with you as we launch our February feature of #shareyourstory with my dear friend, entrepreneur, and amazing soulful human being, Tarin Calmeyer.
The foundation of these monthly features is to feature women that have had the courage to follow and lean into their truth, to share what that journey looked like for them and how they pushed through fear to align with their purpose & passion. We all have it, my friend - we all have that gift given to us, it's getting brave enough to share it. May this be the key to unlock your truth.
Tarin is the South African-American CEO & Founder of the world's first virtual corporate wellness company, Remote Team Wellness. Not only is she a badass human and soulful human being, she's vulnerable, real and is passionate about spreading this movement around workplace wellness & advocating for bringing more balance to the boardroom.
In this episode, we talk about being aware of the energy you surround yourself with, Tarin gets very vulnerable and shares how her deepest & darkest moment at 18 launched her into her path and purpose, and how we are not conditioned to travel on one path.

We all have a story and we either run from it or embrace it.
We can allow those battle wounds of childhood trauma, rejection and lack of security to be a ground for strength or hold us back in life.
Are you letting your story weaken you or give you strength?
In this episode of Putting Attention to Intention, we talk about the power of story-telling, the stories told us to by our family and our childhood memories have laid the narrative for our life.
You'll leave this episode with the freedom to free yourself from this prison of your past which was a lesson, not a life sentence.

We all wear labels in life. When was the last time you thought of the label placed on you? Is it serving you or holding you back?
Are you the go to person in your family - the one that holds it all together?
Are you the planner in your relationship?
Are you the one that all your colleagues call for answers?
As human beings we will fight and claw to act in line with the labels and lanes the world told us to be in.
In this episode of Putting Attention to Intention, we talk about the labels placed on us and a few microsteps to give us silence in life to listen to the one person that knows best for us and can help us break through these labels - ourselves.
