How many times in a day do you do 'the thing' that you don't want to do but you do it anyway because you feel guilty?
How many things do you do in a day that brings you further away from what you want so you can make someone else not be 'disappointed' in you?
Do the conversations in your head sound like this?
You, my friends, are not alone. Guilt can easily consume our lives (it has mine for a very long period of time).
In this episode of Putting Attention to Intention, we dig into why these thoughts consume us and how we can get power back by changing one simple thought.

My Friends, I am so excited to announce the launch of our new monthly series, #shareyourstory.
Every month we'll feature a woman that had enough courage to live her own truth & is sharing her story on how she found the courage and what she learned along the way - in hopes that it gives you permission to unlock and share your own truth.
This months feature is someone who is not only a dear friend, she's a mentor, and advocate for all women who are ready to take their career (and confidence) to the next level.
Nancy Medoff, Confidence Evangelist and Best-Selling Author, shares with us how she found the courage to leave her almost decades long career in corporate sales & sales training to tap into her truth of becoming a best-selling author, global keynote speaker, and executive coach.
I’m here to tell you that Nancy embodies her vision to help women take their careers (and confidence) to the next level by providing actionable tools to get what they want & deserve. Nancy has made it her mission to empower women to step into their strengths, recognize their power, know their worth and earn a seat at the table. Then build a bigger table.
I can promise you that Nancy is up at the crack of dawn on her Peloton and spreading her ongoing journey to pay it forward. She lives these beliefs every day by empowering women of all ages to step into their strengths and own their authenticity to truly thrive at work.

What do you see when you look in the mirror?
Is it someone that you've ignored, ridiculed, abandoned
On this episode of Putting Attention to Intention, we talk about the most important relationship you'll ever have in life - the one with yourself - the one that we're not ever taught how to love, nurture, and show up for.
When we don't value ourselves, we're constantly looking for validation from the outside world to tell us that we're worthy.
We'll share intentional microsteps on how you can stop criticizing the person looking back at you in the mirror and begin to show up for that person.

In our society we view jealousy as something negative: we should be happy and grateful with what have (etc, etc, etc).
We've been looking at this all wrong - the act of jealousy is actually giving us clues about waht we want in our lives.
In this episode of Putting Attention to Intention, we discuss how to lean into these feelings of jealousy: what are they teaching us and how can we use them to discover what we really want in our lives.
Jealousy isn't the enemy - it's the universal clue to who you want to be and how to get there.

What did the world tell you about yourself that you've been harboring since the time of its inception?
Was it that you're not smart enough, not pretty enough, that your body wasn't right?
On this episode of Putting Attention to Intention, we talk about the impact of the words used to describe us when we were young and how it's branded us like a permanent tattoo for a lifetime.
It's not the words that have the most impact - it's what the words do to you.
We talk about how these 'labels' have you acting & behaving in a certain manner & once you begin to realize the labels placed on you & remove the heavy boulder laid on you by the world - it's amazing what will show up in your life.

Have you ever had those moments when you look in the mirror and you think 'I don't even know who that person is?'
We all have! Throughout the journey of life and the weight of the world, we move away from what we enjoyed so much in life and into a world of 'busy, busy, busy' and 'do, do, do' & we begin to lose ourselves without realizing it
That's what we're taking about today - what returning to yourself really means and how you can take steps to reawaken that voice inside you. You're not a $10 dollar bill - you haven't gone away.

How many times in a day do you wear a 'mask' so you can fit into the crowd?
We have such this fear of speaking up and speaking our truths because we are afraid that we'll be 'alone' - excluded from the pack (and I get that, that's part of our DNA) however it gets to a point that we turn to masks to 'fit in'.
If you knew that you were protected and never really alone - what would you say, what would you, how would you up in the world?
That's what we're talking about today -being aware of the masks that we wear, placing them down, finding the courage to speak our truth, and allowing the universe to connect with us & let us know that there is a plan beyond our own.

We live in this achievement society - where doing more is a sign of strength and its how we form our identities - if we’re not achieving then who are we?
This insatiable appetite to do more and achieve more, forces us into these tidal waves of 'to dos' that drown us.
Take a moment to stop doing and just be as we talk about how this insatiable appetite to achieve is showing up in your life. We'll give some actionable nuggets to take a breathe from these tidal waves which give a clear form of thought and allow us to look at things in a different lens.

In this episode of Putting Attention to Intention, we talk about how as we go through life, we create these isolated 'cocoons' for ourselves, thinking that we're protecting ourselves when in actuality, we're robbing ourselves on one of life greatest gifts - human connection.
We'll share the spiral effect that comes from one interaction and share some great thought starters on the power of your tribe (guess what, you already have them).
