  • Episode 161: Help for the Helpers

    Send us Fan Mail

This episode may be out of left field but just in case it is useful for someone who is trying to help a friend out of a harmful situation.

Content Warnings for repeated mentions of domestic violence/abuse, psychological abuse, and trauma.

    • This episode is meant as a support for the helpers, NOT for the victims.  If you suspect you may be in a harmful situation please contact the National Domestic Violence Hotline 3:15
    • It is ok to feel whatever you feel.  It can take many, many iterations and attempts before a victim can extract themselves. Try to remember how common it is for a victim to return to the abusive situation.
