It's Freedom Friday on Karl and Crew Mornings! Today we wrapped up our weekly theme "Survey Says," and we discussed what having authentic faith is all about. Our Scripture reference was Luke 15. The parable of the prodigal son reminds us that whether we are victims of passion or performance, Jesus has paved the way for us to experience new life today. Our special guest this morning was Lisa Smith, Program Head and Assistant Professor of Elementary Education at Moody Bible Institute. She shared with us about the strong impact a teacher has when he or she is rooted in Christ.
