News: After California in 2018 and Arizona in 2019, Michigan is the third state to legalize digital license plates. The plate can be switched between light and dark modes, there's space for a personalized banner message at the bottom of the rectangle. Renewing registration can be done through an app. The plate can display public safety announcements like Amber Alerts. News: It’s official: new internal-combustion engine cars will be effectively banned from sale in the European Union in 2035. Member countries, Parliament and the European Commission agreed to terms that stipulate a 100 percent reduction in CO2 emissions for new vehicles sold at that time. By 2030, emissions are targeted to fall by 55 percent of what they were last year. Technically, automakers will be able to keep offering gas-powered cars, but they’ll have to pay a hefty fine for any CO2 their new vehicles release into the atmosphere in a year.

News: A guy in Arkansas played in a golf tournament that offered a 2022 Ford F-150 4x4 Supercrew as a prize for the first person to hit a hole-in-one of the course’s 10th hole. The only trouble was neither the tournament organizers or the Ford dealership got insurance to pay for the prize if someone actually won – which is standard procedure.
