Early in his career as one of Tulsa’s top eye surgeons (ophthalmologist), Dr. Meehan recognized how so many people were suffering from chronic diseases that were mistreated, mismanaged, and often made worse by the “pill for every ill” medical model guilty of serving the pharmaceutical and medical industries at the cost of patient health.

Jim Meehan, MD champions honest science deployed to create genuine health. He has advanced training and experience in Functional Medicine, endocrinology, ocular inflammation and immunology, preventive medicine, and addiction recovery.

Before his career in medicine, Dr. Meehan was an award-winning West Point cadet, international business executive, and entrepreneur. He was president of his medical school class and the recipient of multiple academic and research scholarship awards.

Dr. Meehan edited the medical journal, “Ocular Immunology and Inflammation.” He learned to discern high quality medical research from the low quality, biased, and contrived pseudoscience used to promote pharmaceutical industry products. He participated in clinical research investigating the associations between military vaccinations, evidence of previous retinal vasculitis, and Gulf War Syndrome.

Dr. Meehan is a 5th degree black-belt in Tae Kwon Do, NAGA World Jiu Jitsu Champion, and 2013 "Living Legend" inductee into the Martial Arts Masters Hall of Fame. He has dedicated his career to fighting and exposing the greed, fraud, and pseudoscience responsible for the corruption of the American healthcare system and the intolerable harm, suffering, and death of America’s children perpetrated by an out-of-control, unaccountable, and uncaring pharmaceutical industry.
