The Avs scored five unanswered and beat the Dallas Stars again this season, this time by a score of 5-1. In the process, Cale Makar got his 307th career point, which sets a new franchise record. One has to ask, with Makar being only 25 years old and already holding this record, if he were to play his entire (or the vast majority) of his career with the Avs, will he hold this record forever whenever he hangs them up? It might be in Gretzky territory.
