The Pittsburgh Penguins had a sound gameplan and they stuck to it for all three periods as they made life difficult for Cale Makar and company, rolling to a 4-0 win over the Colorado Avalanche. Add a great performance in net by Tristan Jarry and it was a difficult night for the Avalanche.

Many were wondering if head coach Jared Bednar needed to give Avs goalie Alexandar Georgiev a rest following a couple subpar performances, but he decided not ride with Georgiev. While the score might seem like he had a difficult night, he wasn't the issue. It was everything else.
