So far the road trip has been not what the Colorado Avalanche have wanted in terms of outcomes. The Avs haven't looked terrible in both games of the back to back against the New York Rangers or the New Jersey Devils, but they haven't been good enough to come away with more than a single OT point so far.

The Devils made life difficult for Colorado. Not giving them time and space, getting into shooting lanes and just being all around disruptive. But despite that, the Avs managed two goals in less than a minute during a 4 on 4 to get them tied at 3. But another defensive melt down that resulted in a late goal for the Devils put it away.
