Sure the Colorado Avalanche are the best team in the league at comeback victories. But some opponents make it much more difficult to accomplish that feat. The Carolina Hurricanes are one of those teams.

A natural hat trick in the first period by Martin Necas was all the Hurricanes needed for a 5-2 win over the Avs, who didn't help themselves by going 0 for 6 on the power play where they could generate nothing.

It was frustrating to watch the Avalanche continue to try doing what they normally do with no success, only to turn around and try it again.
