The Colorado Avalanche had been rumored to be shopping defensemen Ian Cole to make room for the plethora of d-men they have in their system, and yesterday they made that a reality. The Avs traded Cole to Minnesota and the Bowen Byram era will begin.....soon. On the ice, the Avs looked good for the most part and had to hold to as their 3-0 lead was trimmed to 3-2 late in the 3rd, but the Avs held on to improve to 2-1-0 on the season.
