They can't all be zingers. And this one definitely wasn't for the Colorado Avalanche Tuesday night against the Seattle Kraken. Seattle played just like they did in the playoff series with the Avs. Making every pass a challenging one and making the Avalanche work for just about everything. In the end, the Avalanche capitalized on some key chances, where Alexandar Georgiev shut down the Kraken on theirs, which made all the difference.

It wasn't pretty, and at times it was downright ugly. But in the end, the Avs have another win in the win column and two more points in the point column.

All while Cale Makar was busy making history.
