Awaken Podcast with Michael Lombardo

On this episode of Awaken Podcast, Michael Lombardo tackles the topic of fasting. Michael presents a biblical and balanced viewpoint on fasting that we believe will truly enlighten you and if practiced, enrich your walk with the Lord mightily. Many ignorantly throw away fasting because of the revelation of our new covenant relationship to God. While others preach and propagate a legalistic mindset with an unhealthy over emphasis on fasting. It is crucial that we understand the power of fasting because it is a powerful tool that God has given us in this life to grow in our love and revelation of Him. Tune in for wisdom, revelation and impartation.

God is calling His saints deeper and higher in Him. He is baptizing us in His love and is beckoning us to live a sold-out life for His glory. With all the Lord wants to do in this generation, we have no time for compromise or complacency. He is raising up an end time army who shines forth with His glory and is fearless in His name.  On the latest episode of Awaken Podcast, Michael Lombardo speaks with Jamie Lynn Wallnau about the holy revolution that is arising and what true holiness is and how we can walk in holiness as believers. As believers, it is imperative that we don’t get discipled by the world and its systems, and instead we learn to abide in Christ and become a student of the glorious King of kings and His Word. In every season, we can remain planted in Christ and thrive and prosper in the light of His favor and countenance. As blood bought children of God, we should never put our trust in ourselves, man, a job, the economy, the government and so on. Our trust is only in Jesus and the promises scribed in His Word. On the latest episode of Awaken Podcast, Michael Lombardo teaches from Psalm 1 and Jeremiah 17 and instructs us on how to stay planted and thrive in every season of our lives.

When the Lord is doing a new thing and moving powerfully in our lives, the enemy is an opportunist and wants to defile and destroy what God is doing in and through us. The good news is, that the enemy is a defeated foe, and we have the Spirit of victory living inside of us! But how do we handle the fires of testing and trials in our lives? Did we become bitter, offended, hurt, disillusioned, and inevitably close our selves off to God and others? Or, do we run to the feet of Jesus and the fire of His presence and let Him do a mighty work in us through it all? Listen to the latest teaching from Michael Lombardo how he shines lights on the enemies schemes in the lives of God’s people and give spiritual instruction on how to overcome in every season.

• You released a new book entitled “Take the Land: It’s Time to Step into Your Promise From God” …I know that every book is a mandate from heaven. What do you feeling prophetically in this hour that has compelled you to write this book now?
• You open your book with the reality that all of heaven is cheering us on to step into our promises… lets talk about that.
• In the process of possessing our promises, we need to fix our eyes solely on Jesus. And it is just like the enemy to bring in distractions, compromises to hold us back from taking the ground we need to. Just like in Song of Songs 2 where it says catch for us the little foxes that spoil our vineyard while it is in blossom.
• You talk about the importance of stewarding prophetic words (Write them down, submit to mentors, obey, fasting and prayer etc.) not glamorous… He is our everything.
• We love the idea of a land flowing with milk and honey, but we don’t enjoy the idea of having to overthrow giants in our land of promise.

So many believers worldwide struggle with understanding their identity and standing in God. If we don’t know who we are and don’t know how to receive His love for us, the byproduct will be striving, performance mode, and living in the heavy weight of guilt, shame, and self-condemnation. On this episode of Awaken Podcast, Michael Lombardo speaks with Leif Hetland about his story of growing in God’s love and how we as believers can be baptized in the fiery love of God and never be the same again! According to the apostle Peter, the enemy prowls around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. He spreads lies and if we believe his lies, they gain power over our lives and trap us in the bondage of darkness. In the same way that the enemy is after deceiving us with his lies and gaining our agreement, God is persuading us of the Truth so we can walk in liberty through agreeing with Him. On this episode of Awaken Podcast, Michael Lombardo speaks with author and teacher, Kyle Winkler, about his journey of rejecting Satan’s lies and embracing the truth of His identity in Christ. Tune in for wisdom, revelation, and impartation.
