Born in America to a family of refugees from the Iranian revolution, Azadeh Moaveni has split her life between the middle east and the west. As a journalist, she has worked for publications like Time Magazine and the LA Times in cities like Tehran and Cairo, and her books include memoirs and deep investigations. In this episode, she shares her knowledge of the politics of the Arab world, especially as it pertains to women.
