Baba’s is the brainchild of founders Khalid Ansari and Rana Kamal, the adult children of “Baba” Jamal Ansari, the owner/operator of Mediterranean Cruise Cafe in Burnsville.  These second-generation immigrant children are modernizing the Mediterranean cuisine of their childhood. From the Minnesota State Fair to your grocery store aisle, these makers are ones to watch.
