The player in question this time is Roquan Smith, who inked a five year, $100M contract to remain with the Ravens, topping out his guarantees at about $60M. The Ravens went into Cincinnati and lost 27-16 in a game that felt about as galvanizing as one could hope a double digit loss would. Jake and Spenny are here to discuss a game that featured a gutty performance by Anthony Brown at quarterback, another valiant effort by this defense, yet another vintage James Proche mistake, and plenty more. After one of the more bizarre weeks in the memory of just about any NFL fan, Jake and Spenny are back in the studio after letting things breathe a bit following the Damar Hamlin situation on Monday Night. With some stuff to catch up on, the guys offer up a few words on Hamlin, give their brief recap of the Ravens Sunday night loss to the Steelers, quickly look ahead to what figures to be a pretty pointless Sunday game in Cincinnati, and generally vent about the current frustrating state of fandom in Baltimore.
