Despite the New Year's rain storm and the current blizzard in the Bay, reporter Matt Bigler says the amount of water we're getting still is not enough to make up for the state's drought. In Oakland today, longtime East Bay Representative gathered supporters to officially launch her campaign for the United States Senate. New data out shows a drop in the number of UC applications after two years of record growth.
