Grief is inevitable for humans with feelings. Yes. That's all of us.
Grief is defined as a loss. The losses we experience may vary from small to gigantic.
There's the loss of a dream. Imagine the high school senior who had every hope of making it into that college only to be rejected. There will be grief.
There's the loss of a loved one. Imagine the young bride who just found out she's pregnant the same day her husband is killed in a car accident. There will be grief.
Grief comes in all sizes and is best treated with intention and attention, but what does that look like for different people and different situations?
Please join Mel & Kel this week as they take a look at ways people face and address the pain connected to grief and how they completely avoid it too.
It's worth thinking about, and it's what they're talking about!

The majority of people connect grief to death. It may be caused by the death of a family member, friend, or a family pet.
However, grief arrives as the result of the thought, "I've lost something important to me."
We can grieve over a failed relationship, a lost job, or having to file bankruptcy.
Everyone grieves at some point in her life and, for most of us, more than once.
You are invited to join Mel & Kel this week as they venture into the feeling of grief to take a closer look. The things we are willing to face head-on will make us stronger. Are you in?!

People have strong opinions, now more than ever! What happens when we don't agree with someone else's thoughts?
Does it mess with our feelings of security?
Sure, sometimes it does make us feel insecure. Sometimes we want to convince another person to change her thoughts and agree with our opinion.
But thoughts are personal beliefs. They aren't right or wrong.
So, if someone believes something that you don't believe - that is a-okay!
Listen in this week as Mel & Kel discuss how they remain secure in their own thoughts and stay out of the thought downloads of others.
The best thing we can do is pay close attention and get curious! Be sure to join us and please consider leaving a review this week.

We all have them.
#securityissues
Hopefully, we are working on them! The worst thing we can do is sweep our security issues under the proverbial rug or shame others for having areas of worry, doubt, or fear. (Thanks for the apology, Kel!)
Please join us this week as we take a deeper dive into our security issues and invite you to share yours.
It is important to get CURIOUS about our emotions; that's how we evolve into the next best version of ourselves.
Let's go!

In this week's episode, Kel gives the gift of time, encouragement, and good coaching to Mel who just tested positive for COVID-19.
Our minds are wired to pull up every negative thought imaginable and Mel's brain is no different.
That's why having friends to come alongside us matters a great deal especially when life offers some extra big challenges.
If you'd like to get a clearer picture of what it looks like for someone to own her negative thoughts, work through the thought-download process, and find some peace on the other side of things, this is the episode for you.
Mel & Kel send you their love, well wishes, and plenty of Merry Christmas joy! Choose your thoughts wisely.
