  • Party on Board: a calming meditation and story
Five little fish explore the nighttime sea and find a sunken ship. Curious they check it out, surrounded by a blue glow. There's a party on board!
    Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 6:49
    Narrator: Female
    Party on Board Excerpt:
The five little fish swam away from their colorful coral beds. Fish One led the way through a maze of softly swaying plants. Curious to see who or what they would discover the five little fish peeked through the gentle leaves. In the distance, the fish noticed a shadowy shape resting on the ocean floor. The peaceful sea encouraged the fish to explore a little further. Fish Two volunteered to swim ahead and report back to the others. As Fish Two swam closer he realized the shadow was a sunken ship!

Fish Two eagerly swam back to the others, giggling and said, “It’s a ship! There will be lots for us to explore tonight!”
Today’s Meditation: Relax in the grass as you imagine sunlight warming you from head to toe.

  • Dragon Castle: a bedtime meditation and story
It's time for a return visit to the beach. Dragon notices Paula Penguin needs a new home and makes her a dragon castle, with a little help from Benji the bucket.
Hello everyone!  We hope you enjoyed our new stories “Park Picnic” this week. Now, welcome to Favorite Friday! Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again. Please enjoy “Dragon Castle,” and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday!
    Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 7:13
    Narrator: Female
    Dragon Castle Excerpt:
Scanning the warm stretch of sand to see if anyone was there, the careful dragon landed.  Squishy warm sand hugged the dragon’s feet.  The dragon walked slowly, looking for Benji the bucket.  Noticing a bit of blue sticking out of the sand, the dragon hurried over and pulled Benji out.

“Oh good you’re back.”  The bucket said.  “I can show you how to make a sand castle.”

The dragon smiled wide and nodded.

“Ok, you need sand, water, and me.”  The bucket said smiling.   “Carry me over to the water.  We’ll get that first.”

Again the dragon nodded, and carried Benji down to the waves.  The water rolled in and out, splashing and tickling the dragon’s feet with sea foam.  The dragon dipped the bucket into the water and filled Benji to the brim.  He carried Benji to a cozy spot in the sun and poured the water onto the sand.

Emily is having fun twirling with a bubble wand.  Billy joins her and together they begin a bubble boogie. Soon they are surrounded by bouncing bubbles.
Hello everyone!  We hope you enjoyed our new stories “Special Day” this week. Now, welcome to Favorite Friday! Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again. Please enjoy “Bubble Boogie,” and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday!
    Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 10:44

Emily giggled, and dipped the wand back in the container.  This time when she pulled the bubble wand out Emily began to spin.  Around and around she went.  Little bubbles drifted around her.  Emily raised the wand above her head as she twirled.  The bubbles floated around her head and slowly circled her, floating down, down, until they popped on the ground.   Emily smiled as she watched little bitty rainbows shine inside each bubble.  Emily continued dancing her bubble boogie, enjoying the moment, when Billy came outside.

“What are you doing?” he asked his little sister.

“I’m blowing bubbles.”  She said proudly.

“You look like you’re dancing to me.”  Billy said, a little puzzled.

“That’s how I blow bubbles.”  Emily said smiling.  “Watch this!”

  • Teddy Bear Bounce: a bedtime story and meditation
In Teddy Bear Bounce, Takoda the teddy bear celebrates a birthday. In all the excitement he is left in a bouncy castle. Will he be found in time for cake?
Hello everyone!  We hope you enjoyed our new story “Snowed Statues” this week. Now, welcome to Favorite Friday! Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again. Please enjoy “Teddy Bear Bounce,” and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday!
    Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 7:29

    Narrator: Male
    Teddy Bear Bounce Excerpt:
The snuggly teddy bear relaxed on the cozy bed, waiting for his boy.  Takoda listened carefully.  New and different sounds drifted up the stairs and into the room.  The little teddy bear wondered what was going on.  Just then the little boy burst into the room exclaiming “Come on Takoda! You’ve got to see this!” and just like that he whisked the teddy bear off of the bed. Takoda watched carefully for the source of so much excitement.

As he reached the downstairs, the teddy bear saw brightly colored balloons of every color, a cake, and there was something new outside too.  The little bear was unsure of what that was. Takoda smiled as he realized that today was the boy’s birthday.  No wonder he was so excited.

  • Snow Statues: a relaxing short story and meditation
As the Sparkling Train completes its evening route the passengers notice snow statues all over the island. Where did they come from?
    Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 8:28
    Narrator: Female
    Snow Statues Excerpt:
The Sparkling Train wondered what all the commotion was about and began to look more closely at the land around the tracks. At first all the train could see was little bumps on the surface of the snow. Maybe the snow blanket had rolled over some bushes? It was hard to see what had excited the passengers. The Train decided to slow down a little since it was running ahead of schedule. The train slowed its roll and looked out at the scenery. Up ahead in the park, the Train noticed more bumps on the smooth snow. Rolling closer and closer the Train could see more details now that it wasn’t zipping by. Amazed, the train realized that the little bumps were all snow statues.

    Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 7:10

    Narrator: Female
    The Air Show Excerpt:
Holly, Hawk and Herb felt a sense of adventure as they thought about what the day held in store for them.  Today, the three little airplanes were flying in an air show.   It was something completely new for all of them.  Holly felt excited to bring some delight to the people watching, Herb felt happy to be with his friends, and that his flight would be low to the ground.  No high loops for him.  Hawk felt thrilled that he was about to show everyone what he could do.  The three little airplanes waited eagerly for their turn in the show.  “Let’s take some deep dragon breaths so we are calm and ready.”  Holly suggested.

“That’s a great idea.”  Herb said.  “I know I could use a little extra focus.”

“That’s right we want to be safe, and have fun.” Hawk added.

The three little planes took deep dragon breaths, in and out (deep breath), and pictured their routine in their minds.  They took another deep dragon breath, in and out (deep breath), and wished the people watching a delightful day.  With one more deep dragon breath, in and out (deep breath), the planes felt focused and ready for their big moment.

They heard the announcer call out “Now, put your hands together for Holly, Hawk, and Herb as they get ready for their first flight in this air show!”  It was time!

The little cleaner fish stopped dancing to see what customers were arriving. A large shadow slowly covered Connor and the pink coral. As the large sea creature swam towards Connor, the cleaner fish circled and danced. A spot of white shimmered on the grey fish’s triangular fin. The night sky twinkled with the light of stars, while a sliver of the moon smiled down on the earth.  In their cozy den the furry pile of coyote pups began to stir.  One after another, each little pup stretched and yawned. Cody woke with his brother’s outstretched paw touching his nose. The little pup batted Cade’s paw away and stretched too.  Soon all the coyote pups were wide awake and ready to play.  The pups bounced and rolled around the den until their mom encouraged them to go outside. Cody bounded outside the cave and howled hello to the moon.  His brothers and sisters followed him. Cody ran over to his brother Cade and the two bounced up, their paws meeting in the air.  Casey, Claire, and Clyde came running over to join them.
