For over a decade, the island of Jersey was haunted by a nightmarish predator known as the Beast of Jersey, a masked attacker who crept into homes, abducted victims, and terrorized the community under the cover of darkness. His disguise, a grotesque, homemade rubber mask with hollowed-out eyes, an exaggerated nose, and a tangled wig made him look less like a man and more like something out of a horror movie.
