Beating Alpha

Erica Neal & David White both come from traditional financial planning backgrounds. David worked as a stockbroker and erica specialized in retirement planning and pension plans. Multiple experiences on each side began to expose issues within the traditional systems that prevent individual clients from achieving true prosperity. Both David and Erica left their original companies to partner on an individual platform allowing them to utilize multiple fortune 500 companies and choose each one as the need for specific client needs. 

With both David and Erica having interest and shallow background in real estate investing, they each began diving into that world more in their own financial lives. The interest grew into a passion and a true belief that real estate is how true prosperity and cash flow is built. They decided to partner with one another and their shares beliefs to launch a firm that not only encourages but enhances real estate investing.

Chris Pomerleau is co-founder and Private Equity Manager of Park Ave. Capital. He supervises the acquisitions of the company. He also directs the overall investment strategies of the company. In addition to Park Ave. Capital, Chris is an attorney and mediator at Nebraska Legal Group. He has practiced family law exclusively and handled cases throughout Nebraska and Iowa, he is an experienced litigator and a determined advocate for his clients. As founder and Director of Park Ave. Capital, he originated the concept, developed the operating plan, created the company’s products and has raised over $30 Million in Assets Under Management. 

Over the past seven years, his group has acquired over 600 Apartment Units within a three-hour radius of Omaha and completed over 80 real estate transactions. Prior to his entrepreneurial activities, Mr. Pomerleau served in the United States Army. He played college football at Augustana College where he graduated with his bachelor's in sociology. Furthering his education, he completed both his M.S. in Negotiation and Dispute resolution and his J.D. at Creighton Law School. He is a proud father to two children with his wife, Shivani.

Jerome Myers leads The Myers Development Group, LLC, which focuses on buying broken apartment building businesses and using innovative thinking and solid execution strategies to optimize the operational efficiency of the business. Currently, Jerome is the asset manager for approximately 90 units and 90,000 square feet of workforce housing across Virginia and North Carolina and on a mission to hold 1,000 doors by the end of 2028.   

When not actively working on his personal portfolio, he coaches other real estate investors on the Myers Methods of Multifamily Investing. Outside of real estate Jerome hosts the DreamCatchers Podcast, volunteers on STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) boards and enjoys traveling internationally.

Currently closed on first small duplex to buy and hold last quarter of last year. Looking to go big and partner/syndicate larger deals in the near future. Voluntary ministry is his top priority.
