John is the Founder and Managing Partner of Peak 15 Capital. A capital advisory firm servicing commercial real estate operators and sponsors in identifying, sourcing & securing their capital stack. John is also an Executive Vice President and Managing Member of MACC Venture Partners where he directs acquisitions, strategic development, capital management, and growth. He also oversees alternative financing and investor/portfolio development and fund management. Previously he was a co-founder and Managing Partner of Boston Venture Partners (BVP), a private equity consulting and finance firm based in Boston specializing in real estate development, and structured finance.   

At BVP he worked on a cumulative portfolio of $1.8 Billion spanning from Boston to Miami as well as London. His previous roles as a commercial banker in financial institutions and banks such as Bank of America provided an integral understanding of debt and equity markets as well as deal structure, honing his skills and insights into the critical planning issues relevant to growing successful companies. John is a regular guest speaker in various commercial real estate conferences and Podcasts, and he serves on the boards of directors of several non-profit and for-profit organizations. John holds a BA from the University of North Carolina, Charlotte and an MBA from Boston University Questrom School of Business.

Michael is an entrepreneur, who’s company, Detroit Riverside Capital, is responsible for investing in and developing mixed-use and multi-family properties throughout metro Detroit. His current project, the Jordan 3250 in Auburn Hills, Michigan is a 48 unit mixed-use project with 6600 SF of retail space on the first floor. The project is currently under construction and expected to be completed in June of 2021. Detroit Riverside Capital has an active pipeline of over $20M in potential development and their goal is to build 1000 units over the next 5 years. While not focused on growing his real estate company, Michael enjoys golfing, hiking, boating, skiing, or pretty much anything else outdoors.

Matthew is a Manchester, UK based property developer, author, property consultant, and all-round hands-on investor.

Andrew is an accomplished real estate developer, syndicator, sponsor, investment operator, and business owner. With over $36M of development experience, owning and operating over $5M in cash flowing multifamily, and having raised over $9M of private investment capital, Andrew is consistently sought out not only as a partner, consultant, coach, and advisor but a steward of investor capital. Andrew is passionate about real estate, personal and professional growth, financial education, mindset, and his family.

Grant had 3 rentals in 2003 and was in and out of the game fast due to lack of experience, personal issues, and not knowing how to deal with tenants. In 2014 he met his wife and bought their first single-family home in December of the same year. They Built their portfolio to 11 units in 2 years with very little money using a combination of the BRRRR method and Blanket Loans. In January 2018 quit a 23-year career job in construction to become the Director of Operations for a Property Management Company in Southeast Michigan where he managed over 800 total units. 

On June 28th, 2019 quit the Property Management Job due to a lack of time to focus on building his apartment portfolio. Personally owns and manages with his wife their 37 unit portfolio consisting of a 20 unit apartment building, an 11 unit Apartment Building, and 6 single-family rentals. Currently works as a Realtor @Warrington Group Real Estate focusing on Southeast Michigan.

Jennings has been a real estate investor since 2013 and brings over fifteen years of residential and commercial construction experience to the team. He built his company, Reality Construction, at just nineteen years old while attending Clemson University. After fifteen years and over one hundred million dollars of custom home development, he sold his company to Alair Homes and purchased the SC/NC master territory franchise until selling in 2019. Gary is a Managing Partner of APT Capital Group, which buys opportunistic value-add B & C class properties. Gary has been a real estate investor since 2002 and has invested in over 1700 units. Gary is Real Estate Financial Modeling Certified and has been a successful business operator for over 30 years. Chris started his real estate investing journey in Jan of 2016 by trying to flip houses on Long Island NY but failed to flip a single house despite spending tens of thousands of dollars and several months trying. Chris and his team tried pivoting to purchasing tax deed properties in Philadelphia, but quickly realized it wasn't for them. From there Chris started to learn about multifamily and started by investing passively in an 8-unit property, then Joint Venturing on another 100 units worth over $4.5 mil. From there Chris quit his full-time job in finance and joined Toro Real Estate Partners full time in Aug 2016. Toro has acquired roughly 4000 units worth around $285 mil and Chris runs their Florida operations totaling 1000 units worth $60 mil.

Joe grew up in the Philadelphia suburbs and has been a life long investor who started at the age of 19, back in 2001. Over the last 19 years he has invested in over 100 residential properties and 40 commercial properties. In 2011 one of his private investor led him to note investing, where he bought non performing mortgages from hedge funds and banks. Joe got in at the right time and acquired over 2800 residential mortgages over the course of 8 years. His success in note investing created income and wealth for investors, partners and founders. Throughout the last decade his fascination with minimizing his tax bill and beating out wall street returns led him to participate in many different tax strategies including a company retirement plan, Roth IRA's, traditional IRA, and Act of 22 of Puerto Rico. In 2014 he decided to make the move to Puerto Rico and participate in in certain tax benefits known as Act 22. With his desire to constantly learn and seek out trends, he ventured into blockchain startups and digital assets.
