  • Episode 200: Mom Shaming

Raise your hand if you’ve been mom-shamed!

If I could see you, I know your hand would be up. Heck, even if you didn’t have kids, your hand would be up because you’ve been shamed for not having a child, especially if this by choice.

    Let’s talk about it.

  • Episode 192: Kids and Spirituality with Dana Watson

Lucky duckies, Dana Watson joins me again for today’s episode! Dana shares her experience of why cultivating a kid’s spirituality is so amazingly important.

Dana and I talk about how kids can sense who is connected to the spiritual realm and often drawn to those people. They feel known in that energy space.

Kids teach us to be grateful, happy, and to play. Life is simple and joyful.

Dana suggests that parents stay open to their child’s imagination and talking to your kids about different topics such as if they bring up fairies or angels. It’s so important to stay in tune with their innocence.

It’s important to let kids have a voice in order for them to learn to trust themselves.

I loved Dana’s tip about coloring as a key activity to help an adult transition into their playful side.

One of the fastest ways to heal is to play.

It’s okay to let kids have their own stories.

For 25 years Dana built a career as a professional nanny.

She has worked with clients from coast to coast. A part of her passion as a nanny was helping the children better understand themselves and their relationship with their parents. Showing them that how they interact with the world, will help them to deepen their self-confidence and sense of self.

Over 11 years ago Dana continued her education and trained to become a life coach.

She has always had a strong intuition and has learned to trust it. Integrating her experience working with children and families, her life coach training, and her innate sense of intuition, she found her true passion.

She loves working with families helping them to connect on a deeper level with a better understanding of each other and the family dynamic. She also works with clients individually, teens, couples, and families. Dana truly enjoys working with each and every client and appreciates their energy and what they bring to the session. Every session is unique and different,  just like every person!
