  • Episode 155: To Have Kids or Not To featuring Lindsey (Part 1 of 3)

** Link to listen to the episode is at the bottom of the page.

My life long friend, Lindsey, joins me today to talk about her decision to not have children. She is married and in her late 30s and living life to the fullest.

Lindsey agreed to come and share her decision with you guys to provide support to any other women out there who have made this decision and are often questioned about their choice. She wanted to spread the love, support, and uplift you.

It’s your decision to make and your life to live, it’s best if you can figure out what will make your life the most fulfilling and then do that regardless of anyone else’s opinion. Self-discovery is so important. Make time for that 100%.

I also LOVE that Linds talked with Gary on date #2 about her decision to not have kids. Way to show up as YOU!! And they double-check with each other often and have stayed with their decision.

** Link to listen to the episode is at the bottom of the page.

    Tips to take away:

    * When you need to take an emotional time out, use that time to self-soothe instead of increasing your distress* If you’re acting like something is the matter don’t respond with “nothing” or “I’m fine” when someone asks if you’re okay or if you’re upset. Be honest. Own your feelings.

    Lots of kisses:

    * Sydney* Mykenna* Lexi (also got a cute little red car)* Madison (also got a cute picture of her with Peter and his family)* Vitoria F.* Hannah Ann

  • Episode 154: Life Is For You

** Link to listen to the podcast is at the bottom of the page.

A pivotal moment in my life perspective happened in my teens.

Today I share a story about a dark day in my life. It’s been a skeleton in my closet for decades. Before today, I’ve only shared this story with Keoni.

This story may change the way you see me, however, I hope it helps you love people more because we can’t always see what they are going through. And really, everyone wants to feel loved, to receive kindness, and to not be outcasted.

This dark day confirmed the path for me to fully embrace the little things and life in general, to let joy flow daily, and to love myself even when it feels like no one else does.

I share this piece of my story now because if it helps one person make a different choice, to change the way they experience people in this world, to understand love coming from themself can be enough, it’s worth it.

  • Episode 153.1: Bachelor Week 1 Review Pilot Pete Takes Off

** Link to listen is at the bottom of the page.

A new season of the Bachelor has started!!! Pull up your guilty pleasure chair and glass of wine and let’s make this season’s predictions.

I decided to do a weekly review to have you to discuss this episode with because I’m sure it’s going to be a wild ride.

Everyone who is on the Bachelor is a huge romantic and looking for Big Time Love.

I’m guessing that the last three ladies standing will be: Madison, Kelly, and Hannah Ann. Who do you think it will be?

Who will be the one to stick around for the drama? I’m thinking Hannah B.

The first rose ceremony kiss count:

    * The blindfold kiss in the intros* Hannah Ann* Tammy* Mykenna* Hannah Ann* Hannah Ann

The first impression rose went to Hannah Ann and we all saw that coming. Though, I’m kinda a huge fan of her so I see it as a win.

  • Episode 151: Setting Expectations For Someone To Love You As You Are

** Link to listen to the podcast is at the bottom of the page

Relationships are hard (in a sense), but you don’t need to make it harder than it is by hiding who you are. That’s not fun for you or for the person you’re dating.

Dating means your looking for a relationship, a partner, someone to enjoy life with. So show up as yourself. If the person isn’t a fit, that’s okay, it may be disappointing, and that’s also okay.

The best relationships are when you can be yourself. I’ve never heard or seen otherwise.

To be accepted for who you are, you have to show up as yourself.

    * Have an opinion on what you want to do and share your likes and dislike* Be open to new experiences* Create an environment of openness* Don’t take away the loving actions, instead, add in more or new ones as your relationship grows.

  • Episode 150: I Was Telling Myself A Lie Featuring April Roga

** Link to listen to the podcast is at the bottom of the page

April Roga, who many people refer to as April 2.0

    — #April2Point0, cohosts the #Netfriending® TV 2.0 Talk Show. She lives in Knoxville, TN and is a special needs mom to her elementary-aged son who is nonverbal and on the autism spectrum (ASD). She is in transition from her current job (of 25 years) in corporate America and working towards becoming an entrepreneur so she can leave her 9 to 5 and invest more time at home with her son and husband.

April helps midlife entrepreneurial women to QUICKLY recognize how they can know the RIGHT people to follow in their niche AND how to quickly put themselves on the radar of their peers and influencers AND get noticed.

Through #Frienducation (friends educating each other), April helps people to stop sleepwalking through their social media experience. Through role modeling, she shows people how to embrace and enjoy the process until they reach their desired destination. Those people will instantly recognize that they are sleepwalking and navigating their lives and their social media on autopilot!

Her primary way to help other people is via live streaming so they can #BreakTheICEolation. So many parents are lonely for and isolated from deep meaningful friendships (AKA #Frientimacy / thank you Shasta Nelson) and are using only Google to get answers to their deepest issues of life questions. She wants to show them that the easiest way to get their questions answered is through conversations and additional perspectives with people who go beyond the pretentious social bonding that is so prevalent today.

The culture and environment of the #Netfriending® Movement is free of toxic and mediocre people and is conducive to rapid personal and professional growth!

“April Roga and her husband, Roy Montero are dedicated to providing midlife entrepreneurial women (and the people who cheer them on) the GREATEST resource of them all … EACH OTHER … via their Prestigious #Netfriending® People Search Engine.”

April’s superpower is the ability to #BL2aB people. #BL2aB is Body Language 2.0 and Beyond the #Netfriending Way. April can quickly assess a person’s belief based on how they behave and how they answer specific questions the status quo never thinks to ask. When she hosts her TV 2.0 Talk Show, she is always vulnerable and transparent … which allows an environment for others to give themselves permission to show up that way too (which in turn will lead to their own personal growth breakthroughs and spiritual transformations).

It’s April’s dream and vision to connect all of the right people with each other through her Prestigious #Netfriending® People Search Engine AND her 24/7/365 live streaming channel.

So, if this resonates with you, and you are you ready to connect with other people just like you who are at the intersection of “Live Streaming Avenue” and “Personal Growth Boulevard” then send April a direct message at FB.com/AprilRoga.

You can also schedule a quick voice or video meet and greet with her and her husband by going to Netfriending.com/Calendar. To view her previous and future TV 2.0 Talk Shows, visit
