The 2020 Patriots closed out the 2020 season the same way they opened it with a 28-14 win in Foxboro. Cam Newton and friends moved the ball with the run and mixed in some pass plays while the defense did enough and had some key stops, turnovers. The team finishes at 7-9 and will pick #15 in the 2021 NFL draft.

Week 17 is here and the Bucs are playoff bound.  Tampa hosts The Falcons Sunday at Raymond James and a win helps them secure the #5 seed in a tough NFC postseason field.  The club has been hit hard by Covid 19 in the past week so the Bucs will have to be at the top of their game to secure a victory. #LFG

A tough and challenging season ends for the New England Patriots Sunday as the NY Jets come to town. Free agent losses (Not just the QB!) and Covid 19 have put a major dent in the squad have contributed to ending the franchise long playoff run. The Jets have been playing well and New England will have to match their effort to not lose the finale.

The Buffalo Bills rode the talents of Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs to a 38-9 victory over the Patriots Monday night in Foxboro.  New England is both  beat up and lacking skill while Buffalo lacks neither and adds a third element: swagger.  The Patriots are playing out the string and host a suddenly hot NY Jets team Sunday at Gillette.

The changing of the guard is here and on national television tonight. The new kings of the AFC East -The Buffalo Bills- play the long standing rulers of the division- the New England Patriots- on Monday Night Football . QB Josh Allen is an MVP candidate and leads a talented and exciting Bills team. The Pats are in full blown rebuild mode and will have to play their best to avoid being embarrassed on national tv.

The Bucs are playoff bound for the first time since 2007 after destroying a battered and beaten Lions team 47-7 in Michigan. Tom Brady had 4 TDs and almost 350 yards in A HALF of football. The defense did not allow a single point and pressured 3 Lions QBs all day.  Tampa must watch/ score check today as the playoff matchups await and outcomes determine seeding. #LFG

Happy Holidays from BeavsWorld!  The Bucs can clinch the franchise 1st playoff berth since 2007 with a victory Saturday in Detroit. The Lions team is beaten up (5,6 defensive starters out) and most of the coaching staff (Particularly the defensive side of the ball) will miss the game due to Covid 19 issues. Tampa should learn from last week (Looking at you Rams and Steelers!) and not underestimate an opponent. #GoBucs

The Big Ten has released the 2nd half schedule and 3 Wolverines are playing for Team USA in the World Junior Championship in Edmonton. Meanwhile the super talented freshman class is getting great reviews for the 2021 NHL draft. #LFG

The Bucs and Tom Brady rallied from a 17-0 deficit to defeat  the Falcons Sunday.  Antonio Brown's fourth quarter bomb completed the thrilling comeback as Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Leonard Fournette and Rob Gronkowski all made plays. Devin White should win the NFC defensive player of the week award after posting a 12 tackle, 3 sacks and 4.5 tackles for loss day. The 9-5 Bucs can clinch a playoff spot with  a win Saturday in Detroit. #LFG

The Miami Dolphins eliminated the Patriots from playoff contention after pulling away in the  4th quarter Sunday. The Pats could not sustain much on offense and the Phins ran for 250 yards behind an improved offensive line. Star corner Stephon Gilmore went down with a leg injury during the game and New England will turn to more young players as the season comes to a close.
