The final games of the regular season are here and Tampa travels to Atanta to face the Falcons for the 1st time in 2020. Both teams are dealing with injury/Covid 19 issues and depth will be tested. The Bucs need to win as many remaining games as possible to help secure a strong playoff seed. #LFG

2020 has been an odd year. The Patriots play SPOILER in 2020 and travel this Sunday to Florida to battle division rival Miami. The Dolphins are in the thick of a  playoff push in  year two under the direction of Brian Flores. New England needs to win out while also getting major help to qualify for the postseason. After what Miami did to New England in week 17 last year, motivation should not be a problem. #LFG

The Mets made news in a big way this week, hiring a rising and respected general manager (Jared Porter) and signing a top free agent catcher (James McCann).  Cheers in Queens!  With the recent transition to the Cohen ownership, the club has been linked to almost every free agent and trade scenario.  Good, good times to be a Mets fan. #LGM

The Wolverines  completed the 1st half of the 2020-21 campaign last week with a tough series vs Minnesota. Michigan was down 4 of their top 5 scorers and struggled SCORING. 3 of our players players made The US World Junior team while two more got caught up in the craziness that is known as COVID.  Michigan heads into the holiday break awaiting the release of the 2nd half Big Ten schedule. #GoBlue

The Buccaneers played their best overall game of the year Sunday with all 3 phases contributing to a 26-14 win.  The Defense sacked Kirk Cousins  times and tightened up in the red zone. Meanwhile,  Tom Brady and friends used a diverse attack to secure the win. Tampa is now 8-5 and solidly in control of all postseason odds. #LFG

The Race for the Playoffs is here. And the Bucs face the team just below them in the standings Sunday at Raymond James- Mike Zimmer's Minnesota Vikings.  Kirk Cousins has tons of weapons led by stud runner Dalvin Cook and the deadly wide receiver duo of rookie Justin Jefferson and veteran Adam Thielen . The Bucs will have to play well and continue to improve into the seasons final quarter. #LFG

Sean McVay and the Los Angeles Rams put it on the Patriots and Bill Belichick Thursday night and won convincingly 24-3. A combination of the Cam Akers and the Rams powerful offensive line was too much for the New England defense.  The Patriots pass protection broke down and Cam Newton struggled to find open receivers  under  fierce  pressure.  The 6-7 Patriots will not win double digit games for the 1st time since 2002.

Thursday night Football features  a Super Bowl LIII rematch, as the Patriots travel to California to face The Rams. Sean McVay's team features a  talented defense and power running game with multiple formations plus weapons in the passing game .  In order to win, Coach Belichick and the Pats must continue their recent formula for success: complimentary football involving all 3 phases. #LFG

The Wolverine Hockey program will see its depth tested this week as the face the top team in the Big Ten: The Minnesota Golden Gophers at Yost. Both teams will be missing key players due to the World Junior tournament but each squad has more than enough talent to play and play well. Michigan will rely on veterans like Jack Becker, Nick Blankenburg , Chris Summers, Mike Pastujov, Jimmy Lambert and (as always) Goalie Strauss Mann. Should be an interesting series. #GoBlue

The New England Patriots played their most complete game of the season Sunday and the Chargers paid for it in a 45-0 demolition.  The special teams scored 2 touchdowns, Cam and friends played tough,physical  and smart offense and the defense put up a big zero. The 6-6 Pats stay in LA and play the Rams Thursday night in Cali.
