Dr. John Vilkelis has been practicing chiropractic for 28 years and has recently relocated from NYC to Somers, NY in Westchester County. Certified in prenatal and pediatric care as well as extremity adjusting, he accepts patients of all ages.
He currently is a Director for the Dr. David D. Palmer Athletic Trust and the Executive Producer for the North Salem Music Makers.
In the past, Dr. Vilkelis has been on staff at St. Clare’s Hospital in NYC, the team doctor for the Metropolitan New York Rugby Select Side, the Northeast Rugby Select side and the company chiropractor for the NY Theatre Ballet.
Dr. Vilkelis was also recognized by NYS Governor George Pataki for countless hours spent in the relief and recovery efforts at The World Trade Center following the September 11 attacks.
Dr. Vilkelis has been married for 25 years and has two children. His son and freshman at Northeastern and his daughter a junior in high school. When not in the office he enjoys time with the family, pretending he’s going to finally get a band together and training for the zombie apocalypse.
