BeezSheez Wrestling

A mentor comes to visit.

Host Mike Davidson has long said one of the biggest influences he was lucky to have early in his promoting and booking career was Steve Stryker. So it was time to have the man come on to BeezSheez. Stryker gives his viewpoints on what Indy promoters are doing right and wrong in the world of wrestling today. He also offers insights to the differences in promoting professional wrestling and MMA, leaning on his experiences as a combative sports commissioner. Stryker even gets prodded to do a Wayne Stanton and Ernie Todd imitation. Mike and Producer Chris also talk about the upcoming Von Erich feature film with Zac Efron cast as Kevin. That leads into two debates which Von Erich was your favourite and which territory was the best? Plus the “Soon To Be Sponsored Mailbag” allows fans to ask Mike & Producer Chris some thought provoking questions!

Scheduling was a nightmare but Producer Chris and Mike Davidson remain committed to BeezSheezing about Wrestling, and this episode was no disappointment! Although Mike Davidson did his part in the midst of an 8km walk and it sounds like he’s in a wind tunnel.

Mike Davidson doesn’t mince words he believes Dave Meltzer is dead wrong when he says Tony Khan is the best Booker in wrestling. Davidson notes that WCW had a 3 year run of superiority during the Monday night war and he compares that to AEW’s first 3 years.

Who does Davidson think are the best young talents in Canadian Wrestling, listen and find out. And are we about to see Pro Wrestling USA 2.0?
