BeezSheez Wrestling

In the hours following the first ever Wrestling United event, THURSDAY NIGHT WRESTLING, “The Mecca” Shane Madison and Mike Davidson are joined by Jeffrey Scott who ring announced. The three discuss the event, and all the things that went right, what could have been better and even what went wrong. The conversation is insightful and offers an intriguing preview of what’s next for the brand.

Madison and Meez Deez went down to a Primos Wrestling show at X-Cues in Winnipeg called X-ellently Executed. And although they don’t exactly sing the praise of the event, Davidson does admit he enjoyed the show and would buy a ticket again. Primos has Buff Bagwell returning to Winnipeg in late June for events.

AEW is struggling in the ratings, but it can’t be all bad can it?

It’s another great time for the guys this week. Mike Davidson has not had more than 4 hours sleep and apparently is yawning as the show goes on. A full rundown of Wrestling United’s card including who is wrestling who. And Mike talks about how the show has been received thus far.

With a mere 10 days until Mike Davidson makes an official comeback to wrestling promoting, you can tell the excitement is starting to set in on this episode of BeezSheez Wrestling. Mike offers an update on how he thinks tickets are moving and gives plenty of credit to the team assembled building Wrestling United.

Will Mike & “The Mecca” actually check out this Friday’s Primos Wrestling show? It sure sounds like they want to. Primos is running Excellently X-ecuted at X-Cues in Winnipeg. Main event for that one is Mentallo vs “The Villain” Marty Scurll.

And the gang reviews the AEW Dynamite show that took place at Canada Life Centre in Winnipeg.

“The Mecca” is back from a 2 week hiatus and he’s revved up one some new energy drink. Meez Deez (Mike Davidson) is as excited or excitable as ever. With only 17 days left before the first ever Wrestling United show, Mike sheds more light than ever about what fans can expect on May 16th at the Centre Culturel Franco Manitobain. Already the main event has been announced AEW Superstar “All Ego” Ethan Page is facing “The Jacked Jesus” Tommy Lee Curtis. New Japan Pro Wrestling Superstar El Phantasmo is waiting to hear who his opponent will. And this week they’ve added Harlon Abbott from Top Talent in Edmonton, and North Dakota stand out “The Ice King” Jack Ledger. Ledger trained at the Nightmare Factory. Primos Wrestling has announced their next show X-cellently X-ecuted coming up May 10th with Marty Scurll. Oddly enough no Bret Hart though. Primos doing Primos things! In the mailbag, Chance Donovan checks in with some heat in an audio question that puts “The Mecca” and Meez Deez on the spot.

“The Mecca” is off training for his big matches coming up, so that left Mike Davidson and Producer Chris to take care of business. And believe or not Mike is full of praise for Primos Wrestling this week. Recently due to circumstances beyond their control, Primos had to move their event with less than a week’s notice. They were able to pull it off and SPLATTER HOUSE 2 is now in the books.

Winnipeg Pro Wrestling had the misfortune of having to replace the injured Matt Cardona in advance of their FIGHT AT THE MUSEUM show. They did not disappoint getting one of the best unsigned wrestlers on the planet, former MLW World Champion Alex Kane.

And Mike gives a full update on the Wrestling United show that is coming up on May 16th. It’s shaping up to be a real good event.

We are kicking old school with Producer Chris and Mike flying in studio without “The Mecca” Shane Madison. Winnipeg is in for one of the biggest weeks ever starting Sunday Night April 28 with WPWs FIGHT AT THE MUSEUM.

That’s followed by AEW DYNAMITE on Wednesday May 1 and then CWE has their POINT TO PROVE event. The star power on these three shows is thrilling and will have the fans of Winnipeg wrestling enthrallef.

What’s your take on the AEW decision, more specifically Tony Khan’s decision to release months old footage in of CM Punk and Jack Perry having an altercation backstage? Maybe it leaves you begging “What’s the Payoff?” AEW’s ticket sales in Winnipeg are trending towards 3500, considering they had more than double 13 months ago, can they possibly be happy with that?

A brand new beer has hit the Winnipeg market and it’s very tasty. Half Pints has launched the Winnipeg Pro Wrestling inspired PINFALL PILSNER and the guys have wasted no time getting their hands on it and trying it out. And the reviews are in, PINFALL PILSNER is a real good beer! Check it out.

Wrestling United is putting together a really impressive show for Thursday Night Wrestling. First they announced All Elite Wrestling superstar “All Ego” Ethan Page was coming to town. And that’s not all, New Japan Pro Wrestling super star El Phantasmo is the latest name added!

Primos Wrestling has announced Splatterhouse with Billy Blaze squaring off against AJ Sanchez as the advertised main event.

For the first time ever All Elite Wrestling has released some talent from contracts. Is this the start of a new trend?

One week after the big announcement of BeezSheez Wrestling host Mike Davidson helping to launch Wrestling United. The boys are back in studio with plenty to talk about. Player One is still the reigning Primos 303 Champion having successfully defending his title in Denver against former WWE Superstar and former TNA World Champion Mr. Anderson. Mike Davidson speculates Anderson will be a logical choice for Primos Wrestling to bring up to Winnipeg.

Half Pints Brewing in conjunction with Winnipeg Pro Wrestling has released PINFALL PILSNER. This is a brand new beer on the market in Manitoba inspired by the upstart wrestling league.

AEW has officially surpassed 3000 tickets distributed for Winnipeg. Can they reach 4000? Stay tuned.

Wrestling United has locked AEW’s “All Ego” Ethan Page for their debut show. Will be interesting to see who he faces on May 16th for THURSDAY NIGHT WRESTLING.

The milestone episode of the weekly Canadian wrestling podcast BeezSheez Wrestling is upon us! And it couldn’t mark a better time than now for host Mike Davidson to announce officially that he is apart of running a brand new wrestling show! Wrestling United is coming to Winnipeg, Thursday Night May 16th at the Centre Culturel Franco Manitobain (340 Provencer Boulevard). After weeks of not being 100% on committing to doing a wrestling show, the wait is over!

Also, Winnipeg Pro Wrestling continues to sell every single ticket they print! WRECK ROOM 2 is no exception. CWE is doing big business in Ontario with Savio Vega!

And are we finally ready to hear a Jay Rockne story?

Wrestlemania is getting close, what happens after Mania? Davidson thinks it will be Cody vs The Rock… but Shane Madison wants Rock to just go away! Thank you to all the BEEZSHEEZERS who sent in congratulations!

It’s the final episode before BeezSheez Wrestling’s milestone hundredth episode and the boys are getting excited. This week, Winnipeg Pro Wrestling took less than an hour and a half to sell out 600 tickets for Fight At The Museum featuring Matt Cardona vs Josh Alexander. And that is an incredible accomplishment for local wrestling. How many tickets could they have sold if the venue was double or triple the size.

Buff Bagwell was featured on this weeks Darkside of The Ring. Mike Davidson has a ton of fond memories of working with Buff from 2002 to 2008 and shares a funny Buff story that Scott Steiner told him in 2005. Buff is coming in for Primos on June 20th at their Grant Park Mall store. “The Mecca” Shane Madison asks if Buff Bagwell belongs in the Hall of Fame?

And what’s Mike Davidson at percentage wise with the idea of promoting at least one wrestling show?
