Jamie Boulachanis, a murderer who recently transitioned to a woman is demanding a Montreal judge grant her request to move to a women's penitentiary.

Correctional Service Canada opposes the move and says Boulachanis poses a serious risk of escaping and is a threat to public safety if she gets out.
