Behind the Line

Patrick Mahomes led the Kansas City Chiefs on an improbable comeback win in the AFC Divisional Round...in one of the best NFL playoff games in league history. But the performance of Patrick Mahomes is being overshadowed once again...by his brother and fiance.

Jackson Mahomes and Brittany Matthews embarrassed Patrick Mahomes again Sunday night. We play several clips of Jackson Mahomes and Brittany Matthews...tarnishing the legacy of Patrick Mahomes. We explain how their behavior is turning the NFL world against Patrick Mahomes.

Over the span of three decades...Gregg Popovich shied away from controversy. Gregg Popovich didn't address political and social issues. He spent his time building one of the most successful dynasties in NBA history in San Antonio.

However...the last few years Gregg Popovich has become a bitter SJW. We play and react to a couple of clips of a press conference with Gregg Popovich yesterday. The Spurs were set to play the Sixers...but the NBA wasn't the topic of conversation.

We explain how Gregg Popovich is tarnishing his legacy by promoting misery and social justice.

We're two weeks away from the Winter Olympics in Beijing...and one person not excited about it is Bob Costas. He was a guest with Brian Stelter on CNN yesterday...and Bob Costas torched the International Olympic Committee for allowing China to host the Winter Olympics.

We play and react to the comments from Bob Costas...and explain why the 2022 Winter Olympics will be the least watched of all-time. We discuss one minor disagreement with Bob Costas comments...and explain why the mainstream media will refuse to call out China for their various violations.

The Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs was phenomenal Saturday. Bengals/Titans and Niners/Packers came down to the final play of the game to determine the outcome. It was a great day for the NFL...and besides the promotion of the Inspire Change special...the NFL remained apolitical.

However...Shannon Sharpe did his best to ruin Saturday for NFL fans. We reveal and react to several messages Shannon Sharpe posted to Twitter yesterday. We blast his attention-seeking behavior...and explain how this is more propaganda from someone who's become a loyal SJW.

The WNBA is seriously considering expanding the league. There are currently 12 teams in the WNBA...and they're looking to add teams in Toronto, Nashville, and San Francisco. The mainstream media is supportive of a WNBA expansion...but is this actually a good idea?

We explain why the WNBA should be considering shutting down...not expanding. We provide several reasons as to why it makes no sense to expand the WNBA...and the only reason the media supports expansion is because it fits their narrative.

Penny Hardaway is enduring a tough season at the University of Memphis. Penny Hardaway has had to coach his team through injuries...they've lost eight of their last 12 games...and will likely miss the NCAA Tournament for the fourth straight year.

After losing to SMU last night...Penny Hardaway lashed out at the media. This morning on First Take...Stephen A Smith claimed Penny Hardaway can't do this. We play and react to both clips...and bust through Stephen A Smith's reasoning for why Penny Hardaway can't lash out at the media.

Sonny Weems is a former NBA player...who has been playing professional basketball in the CBA in China the last several years. While exiting the team bus last week...Sonny Weems was berated by fans before entering the team hotel.

However...what happened to Sonny Weems is barely being mentioned by the mainstream media. We've heard nothing from LeBron James...no mention from the NBA. Why?

We explain why this Sonny Weems incident is being ignored by LeBron James and the mainstream media.

After three months of Lia Thomas dominating women's swimming at Penn...the NCAA finally released a statement. Yesterday...the NCAA announced immediate changes to their policy regarding transgender athletes.

We reveal and react to these changes...and explain how it proves the NCAA is completely useless. Instead of helping the young women at Penn and the Ivy Leagues...the NCAA is making accommodations for Lia Thomas.

We discuss several instances that occurred over the last few weeks...and talk about how ridiculous the situation with Lia Thomas has become.

ESPN's Mark Jones and Michael Eaves are pushing for an expansion of the WNBA. Both Mark Jones and Michael Eaves want women to have more opportunities in sports...and believe an expansion of the WNBA is a step in the right direction.

However...when confronted by Outkick about Lia Thomas...Michael Eaves is silent. We outline the career trajectory of Michael Eaves at ESPN...and show how he propelled his career by trying to ruin the career of Sage Steele.

We give the reason ESPN refuses to cover the Lia Thomas story...and explain how Michael Eaves is another example of a hypocrite at the network.

NFL Wild Card ratings were a massive success for the NFL and its television partners last weekend. We reveal ratings for each NFL Wild Card game...and discuss how competition on television is altering their schedule to avoid competing against the NFL.

We also discuss the mainstream media's crusade to take down the NFL. The latest example was an article published by Kurt Streeter in the New York Times. We discuss the article...and disprove the same tired media narratives used to tarnish the NFL.

We explain why the NFL continues to be a ratings smash...while the NBA is experiencing rapid declines in television ratings.
