#TTM EP. 24 - HOW TO ENJOY
Watch the intro to the episode HERE.
Our desire and our need for pleasure can sometimes prevent us from experiencing joy. Pleasure is always something outside of us providing us with that feeling while joy comes from within. There is never enough pleasure to compensate for a lack of joy.
We can enjoy ourselves, and we can enjoy our lives, even when things are hard. We spend a lot of time being upset that our life isn’t matching up with the version in our heads. Most of us want to be different from who we are. So, we miss out on enjoying the extraordinary experience of being ourselves.
And the first step to enjoying yourself and your life is to like yourself first. Actively choosing to like yourself on purpose.
In this week's episode, I explore some ideas on how to wake up joyous every day, and how to enjoy being you!
#TTM EP. 24 - HOW TO ENJOY // SELF ENQUIRY
What do you think should be different about you? Make a list of people who should be different from how they are. How would you like them to be different and why? How should your past have been different than it was?
Write down what it is like to experience life in your mind as if nothing has ever
gone wrong.
This will clear away resentment and pain to make way for more enjoyment. Pick one thing you have done that you regret, was embarrassing, that was painful, or you simply wish you hadn’t done. Write down why you think you did it. Understand it from a compassionate perspective. Write down how you can release this from your mind and move on.
Write down why you are doing this. Have compassion with yourself, try to understand the benefit you seem to be getting from doing this. Write down the long-term effect this has on your ability to enjoy yourself and your life.
Write down one thing about yourself. It can be “good” or “bad.” Pick a characteristic
that you would use to describe yourself to someone who doesn’t know you.
Write about how you can enjoy this about yourself and appreciate this about yourself. Have you denied this part of you because you have a vision of how you would rather be or how you are supposed to be? What might that be costing you when it comes
to living an authentic life? What do you most desire for yourself and your life? How can this trait help get you there?

#TTM EP. 23 - BE BORED
Watch the intro to the episode HERE.
Our brain is very busy getting entertained and looking for new stimulation.
So when we remove all that input and all the stimulation, it's like the birthplace for our own creativity and our own ideas, it is time away from all the stimulation for our brain to think about new things and connect the dots.
Boredom is the absence of neural stimulation. If we were getting stimulated all the time we would not be able to come up with new ideas. Our brain wouldn't have any white space to do it, it's like the white space on a canvas. We need that space to create the painting.
You can’t be bored if you truly enjoy the company of your own mind.
Be curious about boredom.
In this week's episode, I explore why boredom is an opportunity to assess your life and get to know yourself, how to use boredom to your advantage, and how to intentionally practice being bored.
#TTM EP. 23 - BE BORED // SELF ENQUIRY
When was the last time you let yourself be bored?
Assess yourself and think about what you do when you’re bored.
Can you hold your own boredom?
Do you use it for you or do you use it against you?
Look around at the people in your life. Notice what they do when they’re bored.
Does what they do when they’re bored serve them?

#TTM EP. 22 - RIGHT DECISIONS
Watch the intro to the episode HERE.
Decisions are the ultimate power we have in our lives.
We make decisions all the time. If we don’t become aware of our decisions, we choose them unconsciously. What we are not changing, we are choosing.
We seem to believe that right or wrong is something that exists outside of us and outside of our choice of thought. Our happiness is not based on making a right or wrong decision. Our happiness depends on how we think about that decision.
The process of evaluating our life in a way that gives us our power back is very important. It often doesn’t mean we will change what we are doing, but it will change how we feel about it.
In this week's episode, I explore what is a decision, and what to consider when making right decisions.

#TTM EP. 21 - BLAME IS NOT A STRATEGY
Watch the intro to the episode HERE.
We are responsible for how we feel in every moment. We are in charge of how we think and we are in charge of how we feel.
We think that everything that's going on in our life is what is causing our feelings, it is the most disempowering thing that we can do, to keep ourselves in a space of blame.
Emotional responsibility is when we decide to take full responsibility for every single thing we feel, no matter what someone else does or doesn't do.
In this week's episode, I explore the difference between blame and responsibility, and how you can completely take your life into your own hands by taking responsibility for your thoughts, your feelings, and actions.
#TTM EP. 21 - BLAME IS NOT A STRATEGY // SELF ENQUIRY
1. Think of someone in your life who you think causes you pain, discomfort, or stress.
2. How do you assign them responsibility for your emotions?
3. When you think about a specific situation with them, can you find the thought you had about their action that caused your emotion? Be very clear.
4. Take a minute and make a list of people you have blamed for your emotions or actions in the past. Make a note of the specific thing you have blamed them for doing.
5. How might you have behaved differently if you had never blamed these people? How has blaming them disempowered you?
6. Imagine your life where you don’t blame anyone for how you think, feel, act, or for any of the results you create in your life. How could your life be different?
7. Think about the times when you blame circumstances for how you think, feel, or act. How might you change this? How might you only assign responsibility to yourself for all of your own thoughts, feelings, and actions?

TTM#20 LIVING YOUR PURPOSE
Watch the intro to the episode HERE.
How do I get passionate? How do I find out what my purpose is?
As if you will find something outside of you that will provide you with the feeling of passion. As if you will find some purpose outside of you that will provide you with that feeling.
Your passion is not outside of you and this is your power. And what if there is no defined purpose you have to ‘find’ in your life? What if you are the one creating your purpose and contribution to the world? Not because you have to, but because you want to.
Your purpose in life is not the job you do—it’s who you are. No matter what your job or your circumstances are, you get to be the person who fulfills your purpose.
In this episode, I share tools on how to speak the language of passion, and how to know what your magical purpose is.

When we understand that we are the ones responsible for creating everything we have in our lives, then we can begin using our minds to create what we truly want.
If you apply and practice the strategies used in this episode, you will never again have to wait and hope for things to miraculously appear in your life.

TTM#18 WHAT DO YOU WANT?
Watch the intro to the episode HERE.
In a perfect world, what do you really want?
Sometimes we don’t even let ourselves consider what we truly want because admitting it to ourselves is scary. Good news: it’s supposed to be scary.
It takes courage to tune in and allow our true desires to come up to the surface.
But this is the only way we can give ourselves the gift of living our purpose.
In this episode, I explore why we want what we want, how to know what we truly want, and why self-awareness is the first step to living your purpose.

TTM#17 WHY SETTING GOALS
Watch the intro to the episode HERE.
A great life is determined by the amazing goals you commit to, not necessarily achieve. What?
When we set a goal and go after it with a willingness to fail, we will gain enormous wisdom, experience, understanding, and self-knowledge.
These are the strategic byproducts that are often more valuable than the attainment of the initial vision.
It’s not what you get from achieving the goal, it’s who you become in the process.
In this episode I discuss why setting goals is a spiritual practice, and what is the goal of setting goals if they will not make us happy anyway?
TTM#17 WHY SETTING GOALS - SELF ENQUIRY
Do you dream? Do you think about the future? Do you plan on what you want to create?
Pick one goal. Constrain. Get specific. Talk about your goal in the present tense.
Who will you need to become to achieve this goal?
How will you be different from who you are now? What skills would you need to develop?
How hard are you believing in yourself?
What are your obstacles and strategies for overcoming those obstacles?
What would you do if you knew you wouldn’t fail?
Every action that you do in your day, ask yourself this question, “Does this get me long-term success or short-term pleasure? And how do I want to define my life? Do I want to define it on short-term pleasure or long-term success?”

TTM#16 DISCOMFORT ON PURPOSE
Watch the intro to the episode HERE.
Growth is hard.
It’s not something we do naturally or willingly. If left to our own devices we will stagnate.
In order for us to grow into the next version of ourselves, we are going to be uncomfortable.
However, if we are growing or not, we will feel discomfort either way.
Discomfort of growth or discomfort of stagnation.
So the goal is not to be uncomfortable and hope that our dreams will come true, it’s about choosing the right discomfort that serves us and moves us forward instead of holding us back.
In this week’s episode, I explore, why growing matters, how discomfort is an inevitable part of growth, the discomfort of stagnation vs the discomfort of growth, and how seeking comfort leads us to long-term discomfort.

TTM#15 BE A YES AND SAY NO
Watch the intro to the episode HERE.
Say No if Yes is a lie.
In this week's episode, I explore the importance of letting go of certain things and people in our life, why people pleasing is not kindness, the process of setting boundaries and the positive effect saying NO has on our mental health, and WHY it is so hard for us to say NO.
TTM#15 BE A YES AND SAY NO - SELF ENQUIRY
Take an inventory of what you currently have, and become aware.
Do this with things in your life, your house, your friendships, with people, jobs, habits, etc.
Pick a category and make a list.
Go through and decide on purpose if you want to say YES/NO.
So how do you know when to say no?
Ask yourself:
Would I invite this into my life today?
Would I be friends with this person right now?
Would I buy it again today?
Would I start a relationship with this person if we met today?
Would I adopt this way of thinking today?
Do I love this today?
Do I want it today?
Is it serving me?
Is it outdated?
Is it something I used to love that used to serve me and it no longer is?
If you think about that version of yourself you are moving towards and want to become, ask yourself, is this version, my future self, having those things, those friends, those relationships, those thoughts, beliefs, and actions?
And then you say NO and let go.
And let yourself feel the loss.
And then once you've said NO to those things, then you have space to create what you want, for the things that are a YES.
As with all decisions, you commit to the NO and do not look back.
Allow an ending to be what it is. Choose not to regret. That is a decision that you get to make. Stay true to your NOs so you can move forward to YESs.
