Sometimes it’s easier said than done when it comes to strong emotions. But we can overcome or should I say become more comfortable with overwhelming emotions especially if they are ones that you feel often. New ones can be tricky as the mind/body has to find new ways to process them.
We are all different when it comes to going through strong emotions.
What works for me is immediately observing, feeling and talking myself through them. But also expressing them.
Is it someone close to me, is it an environment, is it an escape from something that is draining. Whatever it maybe, express it. Meaning vocally or by craft go through it with yourself or someone, or in an another form.
