          • living with someone with mental health issues

          • strategies to integrate self-compassion into your daily life

          • The Power of Creating Community with Laura Kane-Punyon

Laura Kane-Punyon of Buffalo, NY  created Our Table because she loves experiencing the vulnerability, generosity, and power of women in real-life community. The purpose of this group is to grow and foster the Our Table community between in-person events

Laura began her professional career in the NYC-area hedge fund industry, specializing in transitioning siloed department cultures into high-functioning interdisciplinary teams. After the birth of her first child, she returned to the Buffalo region, joining The Kane Firm, CPA as Practice Manager. Fueled by her own diagnosis and five subsequent neurosurgeries, Laura has been a national spokesperson for the Chiari malformation and syringomyelia communities since the age of 14. Laura has overseen 17 charity galas, raising $1 million for peer-reviewed medical research and local Buffalo medical education.

After navigating The Kane Firm’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic without childcare support, Laura developed severe burnout. While recovering, she found healing in connecting with other women, many of whom also found themselves depleted while expertly caring for every soul around them. This shared struggle and the restorative experience of connecting with one another inspired the concept of Our Table.

Our Table gatherings craft the set and setting for the alchemy of women in real-life community. From professional, charitable, and personal experiences, Laura has long intuited the power of gathering with intention. Our Table’s mission is to hold space for women from the community to cultivate the spiritual nourishment that makes us less alone and more alive.

Model/actress turned entrepreneur, author, and speaker - Eleni Fuiaxis is on a mission to inspire personal growth throughout all stages of life.  From educating children about social-emotional learning through her books to coaching adults through career and life changes.

Eleni Fuiaxis is driven to empower children with self-awareness skills and to teach them self-love, kindness, gratitude, and problem-solving skills that will serve them throughout their lifetime.  She rediscovered her passion for writing and promoting social-emotional learning (SEL) in children and impacting their lives for the better and the result was the book, Picky Patrick.  She began writing this book over 8 years ago, when her two enthusiastic boys, Zen and Billy (ages nine and seven at the time), inspired her to write her stories down and share them with the world, even if it meant printing them with a copy machine and setting up a book stand in front of their house in Astoria, Queens.

Eleni is a dedicated working mother who has recently added teaching to her repertoire. She got certified to teach during the height of Covid in order to give back to her community and serve children.
