Sterling Spencer is a former professional surfer from Pensacola, Florida, who suffered a series of serious brain injuries during his career.

We spoke with Spencer ahead of the release of a feature documentary, by Stab Magazine, called Are You Serious, which charts his decline following his most recent and severe traumatic brain injury.
