Jack Benny Show - How Jack Met the Colmans

Very funny episode that opens with Jack preparing for his very first television show. Watch for some laugh-out-loud bits including Mel Blanc as a talking dog doing a Lucky Strike commercial and Jack's crew navigating his basement room in the very inexpensive Acme Plaza Hotel in New York -- where he has to go down the hall to take a bath.

The second part of the show finds a reporter interviewing Jack about his very first TV show. When he asks Jack how he met Ronald Colman and Benita Hume, Jack's reluctance results in Mary telling the very funny story (which borrows from a previous Benny Program script).

Featuring: Jack Benny, Rochester, Dennis Day, Mary Livingstone, Don Wilson, Mel Blanc, Herb Vigran, Ronald and Benita Colman.

Original Air Date: October 29, 1950 on CBS
