Major League Baseball's plan to start a shortened 2020 regular season is likely to include a revamp of the divisions and a merger between the Cardinals' National League Central and the American League Central. The result will be a geographically condensed division right in the middle of the country -- and perhaps the awakening of new rivals, not to mention a more rigorous path to the postseason for the Minnesota Twins.
