We are back with a different kind of episode! In this one, we breakdown a meta analysis exploring what modes of exercise are effective in treating non-specific low back pain. We talk about some basic things to look for when interpreting a scientific study, why your personal observations and anecdotes aren't particularity useful in isolation, why "science" doesn't have all the answers, whether stretching is effective in the treatment of persistent low back pain, why we prefer active modalities over passive modalities in the treatment of pain, and the difference between statistical significance and clinical significance.
