We recognize that cancer has affected many individuals and their loved ones and that it can be an emotionally-heavy topic to navigate. We have created a 5-episode series focused on cancer in order to provide education and awareness.
In this first episode of the series, Dr. Plaster and Amber explain what cancer is, define common terms associated with cancer, discuss how symptoms may or may not present, and explain why early screening and genetic testing can be of service. This episode lays the foundation for subsequent episodes featuring an oncologist, who discusses genetics and treatment options, and a breast cancer surgeon.

To end our season on mental health, we were honored to have Grayson join us to tell his story. Grayson struggled with severe anxiety and OCD during his adolescent and young adult years. Through trial and error, Grayson was able to find the balance of therapy and medication that gave him back control of his mental well-being.
We're grateful that Grayson shared his story with us, and we hope it can help our listeners realize that mental health issues are nothing to be ashamed of, and that seeking and finding the help you need can give you a new lease on life.
