April 28, 2021Why Love What You Love - Beyond Sober Program The primary factor that drives success is love and momentum – Success is the repercussion of the love you generate during the process of evolution. Success is inevitable when you fall in love with the process and yourself. You aren't craving alcohol, you're craving connection – Alcohol is a false reality that's serenading you to stay in love with it. It's lying to you. The feeling alcohol provides is less powerful than the honest connection with yourself. Love you. You don't owe anyone an explanation why you love what you do – Do you! Do what feels right. What makes sense to your success and happiness. The more we explain why we love what we do the more we find reasons to agree with them. It feels right down to our core – Deep down you know what drives you, what pulls your soul and your heart. Your intuition has been getting your attention your whole life and your bad habits have been convincing you it isn't possible. It's a liar. The amount of love you give to things is the reflection of the love you have for yourself – You cannot feel someone else's love, they can only feel the love they have for themselves and visa versa. April 28, 2021Tripling Down On What You Love - Beyond Sober Program There's nothing stopping you from feeling joy and love – Nothing in life has joy or love attached to it. Both are feeling that are generated within yourself. The more you practice finding reasons to be happy the more simplistic life is. If you don't know what you love, practice self love till you love yourself – You focus on becoming the best version of you so when something or someone comes along you can love them the way you love yourself. Do three times what you think is healthy and you'll never look back – Right when you think you've tripled down on what you love, do it again then then triple the practice till you forgot why you started practicing to begin with. Focusing on the feeling of success creates more opportunities to feel it – What attract what we feel and what we are, not what we want. The more happiness, joy, and success we feel NOW determines how much we attract in the future. LOA You can't love something too much. Love till you're willing to fight for it – When you love something you'll do anything for it. This includes yourself. April 28, 2021Writing The Code - Beyond Sober Program Your process is different, but the repetitions are the same – The more you repeat a thought, an action, a reaction, a response, or a practice the deeper the neurological code is written. Think of it like a tattoo. There's no magic number of repetitions before you're "fixed" – Typically it takes between 63 and 64 repetitions before a new groove is written in your brain. Each groove is a new pathway. Someone write earlier than others. The deeper you practice, the deeper the code is written – The harder, the deeper, the more you practice the more the pathway is written. The deeper the pathway the stronger you become. With ANYTHING you practice. Your love for yourself is what makes you talented at what you practice – Talent is made from love that's physically represented with an element called "Myelin". Myelin is instrumental in learning, that skill is built by methodically breaking down actions into component parts and perfecting them. April 28, 2021Learning From The Fall - Beyond Sober Program Maybe the lesson is learning how to accept it. Truly – Everything is a lesson if you choose to learn from it. Just like how you accepted you have a bad habit, you've got to accept it happened and there's nothing that could be different. It's not about the fall, it's about the feeling of falling – The feeling we have when were growing is the feeling we seek as we focus on our happiness. It's not about the destination, it's about the journey. How you get back up is how you do everything from here on out – Fall down 7 times, get up 8. The way you process the past, your troubles, the hurt ankle is the exact same way you recover when you're doing something new. Is this happening to me? Or for me? – It's rare that something is happening to us. 95% of things are happening for us. These are all tools and opportunities to improve our quality of life forever. Everything happens for us. What you can articulate is your understanding. Be it till you see it – You can only speak what you know. April 28, 2021Processing The Bull Shit - Beyond Sober Program Most things don't deserve our full attention – Just because you have a thought, or they say something, that doesn't mean its yours to react to. Practice recognizing things you don't like and simply ignoring them. You've survived it. Be proud of your success – Your journey is yours and you deserve to celebrate your life in any healthy way that helps you continue living happy. Practice rewarding your healthy thoughts with water or words. Everything is another opportunity to do it better – Good, bad, neutral, every moment is another opportunity to master what you understand. The more time you spend processing your thoughts, the more you understand yourself. It's only worth processing if it's contributing to your success – Death, violence, and anger are things that don't contribute your success. Evaluate what has priority now and do what's necessary to find happiness then go back to process. Your feelings are valid – That's not enough to continue hanging onto the past – You felt the feeling, they did the thing, that moment happened and you're human. Of course, your feeling are valid. April 28, 2021Reliving Your Past - Beyond Sober Program No matter how much you wish, want, or desire, nothing will be different – We live in the illusion that things could have been different. If it could have happened a different way, it would have. Thinking about the things that happened to you don't change anything – Reliving your trauma, drinking and bringing attention to your past only destroys your future. Your future self is waiting for you and you're in the past. Your brain reacts the same to a thought as it does reality – The print neurologically fires the same to a thought as is does to reality. Thinking about the experience is convincing your brain it's happening now. Stay out of the past. Mental rehearsal is only healthy if you're using it to move forward - Viewing the movie of your life is healthy if you're using it to process a better way to do something similar in your future with a better outcome. "Can I do it better now". Toxic people from your past don't deserve a place in your future – You are a victim everything and everyone that has ever happened to you. April 28, 2021Accepting What You Can't Control - Beyond Sober Prorgam 90% of life is outside your control – 95% of the reason you are exactly the way you are is because of things you can't control. Your world is moving and changing constantly so letting go of the control allows the experience to shape you. Giving your emotions to things you can't control is giving the only control you have to the thing that's out of control – The only thing you have control of is your emotions. Give those away and what do you have left? Emotions are just indicators - The only thing you can control, is your reaction to the information in front of you. The information in your mind is yours to play with. If you feel a certain way, that's ok. Now use it to move forward. If you give your control away, you're practicing reacting instead of responding – Reactions are practiced, and responses are overlooked. Looking at information that just "Is" give you time to sit and respond in a health way. The only thing constant is change: You can only influence someone's behavior, but you will never control them. April 28, 2021Winning VS Learning - Beyond Sober Program We are either winning or we are learning – There is no such thing as failure. Things may not be working out perfectly, but you are learning what doesn't work. Know what doesn't work is equally as important as the feeling of winning. Curiosity positions you to look at the information objectively – Asking yourself "what makes that happen" or, "what's motivating them to say that" help remove emotions and not react. You're programming yourself to respond. All events were meant for you to learn from – If it crosses your path, its for you. It's not yours and its simply meant for you to study. Who, what, when, where, why, how, or ignore. Learning IS Winning – It's far more important that we're learning. If we're constituently winning, then we're just practicing what we're good at. No new information. The first win is the repercussion of all the learning prior. Objective thinking overrides emotions and allows you to process effectively – What is it if there are no emotions applied? Is it just a word? An accident? An opinion? April 28, 2021How To Master Anything We Practice - Beyond Sober Program Study yourself and write down what you like and dislike – The only way we can move forward is knowing what we want to move away from. Write down what you like and what you dislike. If it doesn't make you happy, stop doing it. Develop a workflow around your future, no your problems – Your daily routine isn't based on fixing the problem, it's based around a workflow that contributes to who you're becoming. What would the future you be doing? Get it out of your mind – Teach it, share it, write it, scream it. The more we project our understandings, the more we understand what we understand. (Similar to reading your sentence out loud to catch typos) Practice patience and allow yourself to evolve – Do nothing. Think about your thoughts. Sit in silence or create distractions to practice focusing. It took me 19 years to become an overnight success. April 28, 2021Healthy Habits To Practice - Beyond Sober Program DRNK WATR – Practice drinking water every time you feel something. Bored? WATR. Excited? WATR. Nothing to do? WATR. The more you practice rewarding your thoughts with something healthy, the healthier you become. Sharing our progress – Talk about it. Some people are going to be annoyed with your results and that's because it's not their struggle and they've probably been complacent for a long time. Don't take it personally. "I learned this about me today" Moving our bodies – Fitness is by FAR the best thing you can do for your health. It has solved ALL of my health issues. We are designed to move and practicing sitting on the couch is practicing insulting our machines. Focusing on our progress and accepting compliments – Give compliments and accepting them is training your body to find what we like about ourselves and others. Pointing out what you don't like is giving you a reason to drink. Spending as much time as possible thinking about the solutions – Spend as much time as possible thinking about what will move you forward.
