Come Out of Her, My People
“Then I heard another voice from heaven say: ‘Come out of her, my people,’ so that you will not share in her sins, so that you will not receive any of her plagues.” - Revelation 18:4.
Think about this: God is calling His people—He is calling you—to come out of Babylon. In the Bible, Babylon is not just an ancient city. It’s a symbol of everything that confuses, deceives, seduces, and pulls us away from God. It represents a system that mixes truth with lies, that replaces obedience with convenience, that offers temporary pleasure in exchange for eternal loss.
Notice the words: “My people.” That means even inside Babylon, God still has sincere people—people who love Him but are trapped in wrong systems, human traditions, or lifestyles that don’t align with His will. God is not pointing His finger to condemn you. He is calling with a voice of love to set you free.
But here’s the reality: if I choose to stay, I become a partner in Babylon’s sins. It’s not enough to say, “I’m not the one doing the wrong.” If I remain tied to environments, habits, or systems that reject God’s truth, I become part of the rebellion against Him.
And what’s the destiny of Babylon? Destruction. Her sins have reached all the way to heaven. Pride, greed, lust, idolatry, deception, persecution—everything will be judged. And God, out of love, says: “Come out, now! Don’t delay. Don’t get comfortable. Don’t stay stuck.”
Young friend, this is a decision of spiritual life or death. You can’t walk with God and Babylon at the same time. You can’t hold on to the cross and the world together. The call is urgent: come out of her.
Today, God is calling you. He says: “My child, I want you in the New Jerusalem, not in Babylon. Leave behind the confusion. Step into truth. Don’t settle for less than what I prepared for you.”
The decision is yours. Will you keep living mixed in, risking sharing in Babylon’s judgment? Or will you listen to the voice from heaven and say: “Lord, I want to come out. I want to walk with You. I want to stand with Your faithful people”?
The choice is in your hands. But the voice of God is still calling: Come out of her, My people.
