Do Everything in Love

“Let all that you do be done in love.” – 1 Corinthians 16:14

We live in a fast-paced world, full of strong opinions and countless voices competing for our attention. It’s easy to react impulsively, to speak harshly, or to do things just to get noticed.

But Paul’s advice is simple and powerful: everything we do should be done in love.

True love — the love that comes from God — is not weak or overly emotional. It is strong, patient, and kind. It is the greatest evidence that we truly know God (1 John 4:7-8).

When we choose to act with love:

* Our words become more thoughtful.

* Our actions gain real purpose.

* Our lives become a living testimony of Jesus.

Love silences jealousy, competition, pride, and division. It builds bridges where there were once walls. And more than that: when we truly love, we don’t just talk about Jesus — we show Jesus through the way we live.

Challenge for Today:

Before you act — at home, at school, at work, with friends, or even on social media — pause and ask yourself: “Am I doing this in love?” If the answer is “no,” ask God to renew your heart. Love is a choice, and it is power: the power to transform the world by starting within ourselves.

Prayer:

“Lord, teach me to live in love in every word, action, and decision. Let my life reflect Your love to a world that so desperately needs You. In Jesus’ name, amen.”

No Judgment, Just Compassion

“Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things.” — Romans 2:1 (NKJV)

We live in a world where it’s easy to judge — on social media, at school, even in church. It’s like we carry a magnifying glass for others’ mistakes, but look at our own through a foggy mirror.

Paul reminds us in Romans 2:1 that when we judge others, we’re really condemning ourselves — because we often do the same things. It may not be the exact same mistake, but we all mess up. We all need God’s grace.

That’s a powerful truth for young people: you’re not better than anyone else, but you can choose to love better than most. When we remember our own weaknesses, it becomes easier to be humble, patient, and full of compassion.

Instead of pointing fingers, what if we reached out a helping hand? Instead of criticizing, what if we prayed? The world already has enough critics. What it needs is young people who live like Jesus — full of truth, but also full of love.

Today’s Challenge:

Think of someone you’ve judged in your heart lately. Say a prayer for them. Ask God to give you a humble heart and the grace to love them, even if they’re wrong.

Prayer:

Lord, teach me to see others the way You do. Help me remember that I fail too and need Your grace every day. Make me quick to love and slow to judge. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Living by Faith

“For in it is revealed God’s righteousness from faith to faith. As it is written, “But the righteous shall live by faith.”

Have you ever stopped to think about what really sustains your life? Many young people today try to build their lives on achievements, social media status, grades, acceptance, relationships… But Paul reminds us that true life — the life that’s truly worth living — is sustained by faith.

The gospel reveals something amazing: God is righteous, and yet He offers His righteousness to us as a gift. We don’t have to (and we can’t) be “good enough” to earn His love. All God asks is that we trust Him — truly trust Him. Faith means depending on God even when we don’t understand everything. Faith is choosing to believe that He is good, even when life is hard.

And more: Paul says it is from faith to faith. This means that faith is like a journey. We start by trusting God at one point, and as we keep walking, our faith grows, matures, and strengthens. Every challenge, every victory, every answered prayer (and even the ones that seem unanswered) are opportunities for our faith to deepen.

“Lord God, thank You for loving me and accepting me through faith. Help me to trust You more every day. May I learn to live not by my own strength but by faith in Your love and righteousness. Strengthen my faith so I can walk closer to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
