Title: Fellowship with Believers 

The Point: A life in Christ is a life of fellowship with other believers. 

Life Connection: Many people say they hold to the Christian religion because they hold to certain tenets within the faith, but they have no connection to a local church. When we come to Christ, we also come to His body: the church. We are not to live in isolation from other believers. Far from it. Our faith is enhanced and strengthened through our fellowship and involvement with other Christians.

Title: Extending Grace 

The Point: We should be conduits of God’s grace to others.  

Life Connection: The popular view in our culture is that people get what they deserve. While some base that view on the false belief of karma—what goes around comes around—most people accept the idea because it seems fair. But God does not play fair. He offers us what we don’t deserve—and we call that grace. When we receive the grace-filled gift of God’s love and salvation, we should in turn show others the grace of God.

Title: Speaking Truth 

The Point: When we invite others to follow Jesus, not everyone will say yes.  

Life Connection: It’s a challenge to motivate believers to engage with the lost to share their faith. One of the greatest fears believers express is the fear of rejection. For some, the concern is personal, a concern that people will reject them. But an even greater concern is that the one who is not a Christian will reject the gospel message. That choice would have eternal consequences.

Title: Calling Out Sin 

The Point: As we call out sin for what it is, we can point others to God.  

Life Connection: It’s easy to point fingers at the sins of others. Based on what we might see on social media, it appears that some people enjoy pointing out the faults and sins of others. People need to be aware that they have sinned, but we’re doing a great disservice if we stop there without telling them about the One who can forgive and remove that sin.

Title: Showing Love 

The Point: We are called to love God and love others.  

Life Connection: “Cocooning” has become a part of the American lifestyle. Many people retreat into their homes, insulated from other people. Even when they engage with others through social media, it’s done from a distance. We are called to love others, but such love will call us out of our comfort zones. When we see others as God sees them, love compels us to step in with encouragement, help, and support.

Title: Making Others a Priority 

The Point: We are called to be the hands and feet of Jesus.  

Life Connection: We are drawn to people who look like us, act like us, or have the same interests as us. Such people are easy to love, but what about those who aren’t easy to love? Jesus had time for people from all walks of life. His love for people is seen in His interaction with different types of people. We should be like Jesus in making our interactions with people—all people—a priority.

Title: Meeting Needs 

The Point: Meeting needs is an opportunity to introduce others to Jesus. 

Life Connection: We can be thankful that many organizations around the world—both secular and faith-based—are intent on helping people in need. Christians should be at the forefront of helping others. Jesus met needs, but He didn’t do so simply for the purpose of meeting a need. He took it a step further: He used His actions to point to who He is. We can do the same as we meet needs.

Special Focus Session 

Date of First Use: May 31, 2026 

The Point: Never lose sight of God’s goodness and faithfulness. 

Life Connection: Each May, Americans observe a day to remember those who died in service to their country. It’s important that we not forget the fallen soldiers who fought for freedom. It’s also important that we remember what God has done to gain our ultimate freedom. Throughout Scripture, we see occasions where people set up their own memorials to God’s work. We can follow their example with ways to remember God’s work in our lives.

Title: A Mission Without Boundaries 

The Point: Sharing the message of Christ is a privilege that could take you anywhere. 

Life Connection: America has become an amazingly diverse country of ethnicities and backgrounds. We can be thankful for the many opportunities to do “international missions” in our own backyard. The nations have come to us, but that does not negate the call for us to go to the nations. The world needs to know about Jesus, and we have a role to play in that.

Title: A Mission Outside Your Comfort Zone 

The Point: The gospel crosses cultures—and so should we. 

Life Connection: It’s tempting to stay within the circle of those we already know. It’s easier to talk with people just like us, but those are not the only people we encounter on a daily basis. America is becoming ever more diverse, and we see that in our local communities. These are people made in the image of God, ones for whom Christ died, and we should embrace the privilege and opportunity to introduce them to Jesus.
