Kurt Racicot and Lyle Hebel from Stone Glacier took time from a busy SHOT show schedule to stop by the office and talk shop. Kurt's quest for lightweight backpack hunting led him to develop the first Stone Glacier pack and establish the Stone Glacier brand. Kurt talks about moving to Alaska right out of college to pursue a career in teaching and his desire to hunt the wilds of Alaska. The guys discuss pack design, selecting the right pack for your hunt, and properly fitting a pack. Mix in a story of Lyle being accidentally shot as a kid, some football talk, and what's new for Stone Glacier, and you have an entertaining and informational must-listen.

The guys sit down with Brady’s good friends, husband and wife, Wilson and Lindsey Pike. They share a great relationship in life and hunting. Scott Butler is an Air Force F-16 pilot and more recently a big game hunter. This year will likely go down as one of the best ever for the Big Hunt Guys. Brady successfully took seven different species, eight big game animals in total. Lorenzo packing into rugged terrain and took a great Stone sheep with his bow. In addition he assisted a friend and coworker, Omar, in taking his first bull elk with his bow. Trail killed his best archery mule deer buck yet. To cap off 2023 the guys sat down to talk about some of the most meaningful moments in the field, lessons they learned, the BHG's gear of the year, and outline their goals going into 2024.
