What you have sure seems like not enough, so the question becomes, what are you doing with what little you do have? Have you dismissed what’s here because it’s not all you imagine is needed?

Who are you to say how much God will require? Who are you to assume what you have won’t be enough before you even invite God to use it?

I woke up this morning with this thought. A thought of having entirely too little of what would be needed. Specifically, sleep. I got too little sleep last night to ever feel rested. Too little sleep to ever have abundant energy. Too little sleep to ever pull off being super productive today. Then I felt a ping in my spirit that was God saying, “what if it’s not enough to you, but it’s more than enough for me.”

Here’s what I realized in that moment … it’s my attitude about what little I have that is a bigger obstacle than the quantity itself. It is my perspective that limits far more than my supply.

What I could do with 5 hours of sleep is drag butt all day, focus on how sleepy I am, complain about how it isn’t enough, and feel defeated from the very beginning … OR I could opt for something different. I could take that same 5 hours of sleep that sure felt like not enough, and I could offer it to God to see what he can make of it in his hands.

What can he do with your ‘too little’ and ‘not enough’? Oh girl, he can turn it into an overwhelming abundance if you give it to him in faith!

When the disciples saw the hungry crowd gathering around Jesus, they wanted to dismiss the need. Their attitude was immediately set on not having what it would take. I bet you’ve been seeing a whole lot of this yourself. Isn’t that exactly what you’ve been seeing? You, here not having what it will take. Feeling inadequate. Feeling overwhelmed. Being stuck. So, have you dismissed the need? Dismissed the desire? Dismissed yourself? Oh, God wants to get all up in that today!!!!

Jesus never asked the disciples to bring him what was guaranteed to be enough, he simply asked them to bring him what there was. And what there was seemed grossly inadequate.

John 6: 9-13 Andrew, one of the disciples says to Jesus, “Here is a boy with five small barley loaves and two small fish, but how far will they go among so many?”Jesus said, “Have the people sit down.” There was plenty of grass in that place, and they sat down (about five thousand men were there). Jesus then took the loaves, gave thanks, and distributed to those who were seated as much as they wanted. He did the same with the fish.When they had all had enough to eat, he said to his disciples, “Gather the pieces that are left over. Let nothing be wasted.” So they gathered them and filled twelve baskets with the pieces of the five barley loaves left over by those who had eaten.”

This miracle delivered by Jesus first began with what there was. And what there was came no where close to being enough. It was laughable it was so little. It was only a boy with 5 small loaves of bread and 2 small fish. Notice the size is even included so it’s clear. It was SMALL bread. SMALL fish. We’re not even talking about 2 big fish, they were little.

The quantity made no difference in the hands of Jesus. All that mattered is it was placed in his hands. In his hands, this ridiculously insufficient supply became an overflowing abundance that created more left overs than there was to begin with.

But what if the boy wouldn’t have offered his little loaves of bread? What if he would have hidden his little fish, because there was no denying what he had wouldn’t even come close to f...

Just how exhausted are you right now? How completely overwhelmed and overstretched have you become? You woke up more tired than you were when you went to bed, and you’re not sure how your already depleted level of energy will ever be enough to get you through this day. You’ve already made peace with the fact that you will be dragging butt all day today.

Really, why are you dragging butt today? Why are you trudging along, just trying to get through the day? Why are you moving slow, feeling low, already exhausted at the beginning of the day?

Hey, Sis, why are you so tired? Why are you so stressed? What is causing this in your life?

We’re quick to assume it’s because we are doing too much. We have too much on our plate. Too many people counting on us. Too much to get done. Too much coming that we’re not even remotely ready for.

But if that is the case, then how are there people with the same amount of work, the same obligations, the same stresses and messes as you, but they’re waking up with energy and joy today? What’s the secret here? Why are they not overwhelmed? Why are they not exhausted?

Honey, they’re not better than you, they’ve just tapped into something you haven’t quite discovered yet. But what if you could discover it today? What if I could share with you the one thing you’ve maybe been missing, and this one thing has the power to make a drastic difference in every day of your life?

Interested?

Here’s the truth: You often feel tired, not because you’ve done too much, but because you’ve done too little of what sparks joy in you.

Now here’s the secret: Allow space for what you love.

God designed you with great detail. The color of your eyes, the size of your feet, each delicate turn of your fingerprints, all designed by him. And within, he designed specific desires of your heart to spark joy. He created you to love very specific things. Why? So you would enjoy the days of life he has granted you and follow that joy to find his desired passions in your life.

God created me to love adventure. He created me to find joy in the turquoise waters, in the woods, and in the mountains. He created me to explore and wander and discover. And when I’m doing those things, I feel more alive. I feel more in touch with the one who created me, and the life he created me for.

What about you? What are the specific desires of your heart that spark joy? What do you love doing? What do you love seeing? Where do you find tremendous joy?

Honey, if you can’t answer that question quickly and certainly, that tells me you’ve been spending a whole lot of your days checking boxes and going through the motions. Survival mode is created for one thing … surviving a crisis. If you’re not in an absolute crisis right now, why would you be living in a mode designed for one? You’re surviving this, but are you really living in it?

The point of this life is not to arrive at the end in a nice, clean car with good hair saying, “I have made it to my destination and I still look rather good.” Untouched. Unspoiled. Lipstick on point.

Honey, the point of this life is to come skidding through the pearly gates side ways on fumes saying, “Wooohooooo, what a ride! I lived and I loved, and I experienced all the things God created for me in this lifetime. I didn’t sit a single one out, I was all in for everything God had for me, and dang was it a wild ride! Maybe I could take a little nap in my heavenly mansion as eternity in Paradise begins.

God is making what you have now to be enough until he brings what is next for you.

What you have will be enough, you don’t have to fear this lack any longer. What you can do will be enough, you don’t have to be overwhelmed another day. Who you are is enough, you never have to assume a position of unworthiness again.

When you’re working in God’s math, you must get used to things that do not look reasonable. Things that don’t sound logical. Impossible things made possible. Isn’t that what God does? So, why have you been fretting over your impossible? Honey, don’t fret over it, turn it over. Bring this to the feet of the One who can. Put this into the hands of the One who will.

Remember that mission retreat we did in October for the 99+1 House? We took 40 BIG Life girls and turned what were formerly condemned rooms in an abandoned nursing home building into designer rooms worthy of a magazine. These rooms are the new safe havens for girls who have aged out of foster care with no where to go, along with girls who have been rescued from unimaginable situations. We only had a small funding for this mission, and a few short months to make it happen. I’m going to be completely honest and confess I cancelled the entire thing more times than I would like to admit, as I sat and did the math.

It wasn’t possible. There wasn’t enough money. There wasn’t enough time. We were in way over our heads.

I called and had a conversation with Gail, the powerhouse Mama of the 99+1 Home. I thought I was going to have a “coming to Jesus” talk with Gail. In my head is was going to go like this: Gail, this isn’t possible. There’s not enough money and there’s not enough time. We need to scale way back. We need to delay. I think we need to cancel.

But here’s what I learned … you don’t have a “coming to Jesus” talk with Gail because Gail already went to Jesus! Without an ounce of worry or stress in her voice she said, “Pamela, God told me a long time ago we were going to be working from his math.”

Okay, God’s math.

You see, God’s math doesn’t work the same way the world’s math works. He takes what looks like entirely too little and makes it more than enough. He takes a drop and creates an abundant overflow.

But, there’s only one way that happens … you have to trust him with that drop. That little bit. That which looks like it would never be enough, and certainly doesn’t feel like enough, must be released to the Almighty. With that, a drop becomes an overflow. A little becomes more than enough.

Where do you need God’s math in your life? Where do you have much too little for what is needed? Where do you feel inadequate and in way over your head? Where has the enemy been reminding you that you’re simply NOT GOOD ENOUGH? Oh honey, it’s time to bring that all to God and let him do what only he can do.

Yes, the one who turned the 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish into a meal to feed a hungry crowd of thousands, then gathered 12 baskets of leftovers after everyone was full. THAT IS WHO YOU NEED!

And guess what … that is who you get!

You get the one who turns not enough into abundance. You get the one who takes what little you have within you and multiplies it to make you more than enough for every single thing ahead of you. You get Jesus, and Jesus does God’s math!

Yesterday we read in 1 Kings 17: 7-16 about the widow who was gathering sticks to go home, build a fire,

Sometimes where God leads you is temporary, but it’s still where he was leading you.

Sometimes where God last brought you won’t last forever, and it’s not a work of the enemy when you are forced to move on to what is next. We’re so quick to assume when the thing we have now stops working, that is must be Satan working against us. But actually, what if it’s God. What if this is exactly how God is guiding you to what is next in his purposes and plans for you. He brings an end to what is here now, so he can move you to what is next ahead.

What if the very problem you’re facing right now isn’t an arrow from Hell sent to detour you, but a messenger from Heaven sent to guide you. You see, the truth is, if it kept being comfortable here, if it kept working, if the door remained open, you would stay here. But God has so much more for you. And sometimes the only way he can get you to move toward what he has for you is to shut down what you’ve been depending on here.

Look at the story of Elijah. Elijah was a prophet of God. He heard from God. He was guided by him. And God revealed to him that a drought was coming on the land for several years. 1 Kings 17: 2- 6 “God then told Elijah, “Get out of here, and fast. Head east and hide out at the Kerith Ravine on the other side of the Jordan River. You can drink fresh water from the brook; I’ve ordered the ravens to feed you.”Elijah obeyed God’s orders. He went and camped in the Kerith canyon on the other side of the Jordan. And sure enough, ravens brought him his meals, both breakfast and supper, and he drank from the brook.”

God knows about this drought in your life, and he has already prepared a brook for you. He has guided you to a place where he will provide, and he will sustain. Right? Seriously, you’re making it through, aren’t you? Isn’t that God? Can’t you see how he aligned the place you’ve been in to get you through what you’ve been going through?

But, here’s the thing … this place you’ve been in to get you through what you’ve been going through, isn’t forever. This is temporary. God is guiding you past this. But, you must understand how God sometimes guides us to leave where he last brought us, because it may not look like you imagined. He may not present you with an irresistible next option that has you excited to move on. He may not reveal to you great plans ahead that make staying here undesirable. Instead, you may sit and watch what you’ve had here slowly dry up. And as you watch what God has been providing dry up, it’s going to feel a whole lot like an attack of the enemy. It’s going to feel like God is against you. But learn this lesson so you don’t freak out.

Verse 7, “Eventually the brook dried up because of the drought.”

This brook is where Elijah had been led by God, and where he had been blessed with water to drink and birds that brought him his meals daily. It had been good. Elijah had likely grown comfortable here. He could count on what he needed to be provided. He could see God’s hand in it all. But eventually, that brook dried up. What God had been providing ceased.

Imagine how Elijah must have felt. Oh I bet he felt kind of like you feel as this whole thing has dried up on you. God, you brought me to this place, you guided me to this, and now it’s going to fall apart? Now it’s going to be taken away? Now, after all of this, I’m going to be left with nothing and have to start over?

Sometimes don’t you just want to say “WHAT THE ACTUAL CRAP?”

But honey,

Sometimes God is silent. His timing is not our timing. His ways are not the way we would have chosen. We don’t understand what he is doing. We look around and see things only getting worse, and wonder where is God in all of this.

What are you doing in this waiting? What are you doing in this silence? Have you began seeking something you can see because you still can’t see God in this?

God wants to talk to us today about how we use him when we need him, then forget him when we get it. How we give up on the unseen and crave what we can see. How we are so quick to settle for anything, instead of waiting on God’s best.

Have you backsliden from something greater to something so much less? Did God bring you here for a purpose, but now in the hardship of it all, you’ve sought what is easiest, fastest, more guaranteed? Girl, have you traded God’s great plans that were taking a long time, for these immediate plans you could throw together yourself, and now you’re wondering why you feel so unfulfilled?

God had brought the Israelites out of slavery in Egypt, and into freedom on their way to a Promised Land. He had done impossible things for them every step of the way. He had parted the Red Sea for them to cross on dry land, then brought the walls of water back down on their enemies to wipe them out. He had provided water from a rock. He had rained down food in the middle of a desert. They had literally been living from the hand of God, in total and complete dependence upon him.

But now, they had what they needed. Every day they had this food. Every day they had this water. Every day there enough provisions for them, and eventually it became ordinary.

Isn’t it amazing how what you have today is what you once prayed for. And isn’t it amazing how it’s all become just ordinary now. You likely didn’t wake up in this house you prayed for at one point, with sheer giddiness today that you still get to be here. Why is that?

Remember when there was that health crisis within your family and you weren’t sure if they were going to make it through. And there they are, alive and well in your house today as if it’s all so normal. You swore you would never take another day with them for granted, but it kinda looks like you might be.

You didn’t know how in the world you were going to make it through what you were going through back then. Only God could get you through. Only God could make it happen. And he did. You made it through. But now it’s just normal to wake up on the other side of that chaos, forgetting all God did on your behalf to bring you here.

God did it, but have you forgotten?

You know what would be so good for your soul today … just take a moment to go back over all God has done for you and tell him thank you. Spend a few minutes reviewing all of his power required to bring you to what is now just normal and ordinary for you. Just because you got what you needed from him, don’t forget him now.

The Israelites had forgotten. God had done so much for them, but all these miraculous daily provisions had become their new normal, and they forgot God when they got it. This failure to remember, failure to recognize, and failure to remain grateful, led to ultimate chaos and destruction. Don’t let this be you!

On their journey, they had come to Mount Sinai, where God called their leader, Moses, to come to the top of the mountain while the people remained down below. After a few weeks had passed, the people grew restless at the bottom of the mountain. They wanted to SEE what God was doing.

You have no idea what God has available for you. You have not seen what he has decided in advance to make possible for you. You haven’t dared to imagine what your future will one day hold, that is currently being held in waiting with God.

But I assure you, God wants it for you. Oh how he wants you to be able to step into his great big, beautiful, abundant plans for you. He wants to fill your cup to absolute overflowing, more than you can contain.

If God wants all of this for you even more than you want it for yourself, then why in the world isn’t it happening for you? Why haven’t these impossible things been made possible in your life? Why are you still struggling with the same old things you’ve been struggling with for 20 years? Why hasn’t there been a breakthrough? Where are those good plans, because this doesn’t feel good right now.

If you’re asking, God has your answer. His hand hasn’t been able to fully open to you, because you haven’t fully opened your hand to him.

Yip, you’re holding something back. Something hasn’t been fully surrendered.

A doubt, a fear, a past negative experience, a really justified feeling has kept your hand slightly closed. You’ve trusted God with everything else, but this thing is really hard to open up with. This thing comes with baggage, and the truth is, that baggage has become your security, and maybe even your identity. If you release this, then who would you be?

You see, you’ve always been the woman with this … this security, this story, this struggle. This possession, this plan, this problem. This expectation, this extra, this excuse. You may love it, or you may hate it, but you’ve always had it, so it’s become part of who you are, and releasing it would mean letting a part of you go. Or maybe you haven’t always had it and you had to work really hard to get it, so releasing it seems ridiculous now.

But what if this one thing you’ve held on to, is the one thing that has hindered the hand of God to fully open to you?

Psalm 145: 16 “You open your hand and satisfy the desires of every living thing.”

The exact thing you desire, the very thing you are lacking, the thing you still need most in your life, can only be fulfilled by God. It comes from his hand. But remember, you have a thief who intends to steal every good thing you have, and he prowls around like a roaring lion, stalking his prey. And do you know what one of the greatest tricks of the thief is? It’s to give you the cheap imitation of what you want, and make you believe you have to hold on to it for life. And as you hold on to it, your hands are closed to God.

Have you heard about the great art thief? This thief would break into museums and mansions, and steal priceless works of art, and absolutely no one would come looking for him for years. No one came looking, because they didn’t realize anything had been stolen. He had replaced the original art with a replicated imitation art piece that hung perfectly in it’s place. And because there wasn’t an empty space, the crime went unnoticed.

The devil never leaves empty spaces in your life. Oh he fills those spaces with cheap imitations of what God has to offer, and he leaves you clinging to them as if you could never have anything better. God says, “open your hand and give this to me”, and you say “God I can’t give this to you, it’s all I have.” But what if what you have is the replicated version produced by the enemy to fill your empty spaces and keep you from ever wanting the real thing from God?

You think this setback was a cancellation on your dream, but Sis, you’re wrong. This isn’t a cancellation. This is an opportunity for you to see what you couldn’t see before. A chance to tap into the creativity your Creator has placed within you, and do something different.

Did you know many of the great inventions we enjoy today were actually a total accident in the making. They were a flop when compared to their original intention, but that flop created a greater success than ever imagined. If you’ve ever used a Post-It to add a sticky note on your mirror, your computer screen, your refrigerator, or a page in a book, you’re looking at a total flop. A cancellation of a dream that became an opportunity for greater success.

The original intent was to create a new super glue that would permanently stick to anything. The result was the exact opposite. A glue that would adhere, then gently peel right off. It was an utter failure in one way, and genius in another. But what if the creator would have given up in the failure of his original intent? What if he would have assumed this was a cancellation of his creation, closed up shop, and threw away the glue that wouldn’t permanently stick to anything at all? He would have missed a massive opportunity!

Honey, you don’t have to be an inventor to have the potential to be missing a massive opportunity here. Where has this NOT turned out the way you had hoped? Where has this been a disappointment? Where has the door slammed in your face? Can you believe with me for just a moment you’re simply being redirected by a loving God who has always had ridiculously good plans for you? Can you believe with me for a higher purpose than this disappointment? Can you believe in a channeling toward greater things, and this disappointment and failure was a massive move on behalf of a God who loves you wildly. A move to bring you to greater things. A move to show you more.

This is your invitation to do something different!

I recently started watching a documentary of the wild life of Richard Branson. I say wild because this man makes my adventurous spirit look boring. It’s a story of brilliant success, insane risks, and one set back after another. Every time he would create momentum, he would encounter a problem that would completely prohibit him from moving forward. But it was what he did with that problem that created his success.

Sis, it’s what you do with this problem that will determine your success. Will you lay there and lick your wounds forever? Will you become a victim of circumstances and let all those dreams die? Will you sit in the ashes of what was once beautiful and stay stuck in what was? Or will you use this problem like the wind in your sails, make an adjustment, and move forward?!!!

Richard Branson had started Virgin Records and experienced some success as the first mail order record company. That was until the British post office went on strike and absolutely nothing could be mailed. Now all his money was tied up in an inventory that couldn’t be shipped to fulfill his orders and he couldn’t change the mail situation. So, what could he do? He rented his first ever store front building, threw huge bean bags on the floors, plugged headphones into the previously unheard music he was trying to sell, and BOOM, it became bigger than the mail order business he had been building before.

You see, what you’ve been building before may have been halted, but this doesn’t have to be the end. I’m talking about businesses, marriages, homes, families, careers, and dreams. ALL OF IT. The enemy thought he was cancelling everything on you, but all he was doing was channeling you directly to the bet...

Do you sometimes wake up in the middle of the night with fear? Something within your spirit says things aren’t right. You’re unsettled. Uneasy. And totally unable to go back to sleep.

Maybe that was you last night. That was me. A bad dream woke me up and I just couldn’t shake it.

It’s what you do in those moments that matters. Do you lay there and rehearse all the possible worst case scenarios of reality? Do you dwell in darkness and allow the fear to fester? Or do you tap into the power you have to turn on the light, drown out the darkness, and call on the power of your Almighty God who knows EXACTLY what is happening?

I laid in bed for over an hour in the middle of the night and I prayed. God began to lay very specific people and situations on my heart to talk to him about. And I’m telling you they were heavy. Have you ever noticed those “in the middle of the night” concerns are the big ones. The ones you can’t carry on your own. The ones you can’t fix. Yeah, I bet you have those too.

I prayed against any attacks of the enemy. I prayed against any open doors that he might be trying to creep in through. I prayed for God’s protection and provisions over the ones on my heart. Then let me tell you what happened next …

Laying there in bed, I had an image flash in front of me. I’m not a person who often receives visions, so this was very different for me. The image was clear. White background with the black bold print capital letters XCI.

Enough laying there, it was 2:30 in the morning, and it was time to get up and get serious about these promptings. Uncertain of what these letters could be, I turned to the google. I typed in “Spiritual meaning of XCI” and hit search.

My search had 724,000 results. Page one all showed the same thing. Psalm XCI. Yes, this is what God was leading me to. But he wasn’t only leading me there for my matters, he was leading me there for yours too. I know this is as much for me, as it is for you. For your late night wakeups of fear and uncertainty. For where the enemy has been seeking to attack you and your family. Psalm XCI is for us.

To my surprise, this wasn’t a secret code I had seen. It was roman numerals. XCI is the number 91. Why would it most certainly be Psalm 91? Because Psalm is the only book in the bible with that many chapters.

So, let’s read Psalm XCI together today and see what God wants us to know.

Those who live in the shelter of the Most Highwill find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.2 This I declare about the Lord:He alone is my refuge, my place of safety;he is my God, and I trust him.3 For he will rescue you from every trapand protect you from deadly disease.4 He will cover you with his feathers.He will shelter you with his wings.His faithful promises are your armor and protection.5 Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night,nor the arrow that flies in the day.6 Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness,nor the disaster that strikes at midday.7 Though a thousand fall at your side,though ten thousand are dying around you,these evils will not touch you.8 Just open your eyes,and see how the wicked are punished.9 If you make the Lord your refuge,if you make the Most High your shelter,1 no evil will conquer you;no plague will come near your home.1 For he will order his angelsto protect you wherever you go.2 They will hold you up with their handsso you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone.1 You will trample upon lions and cobras;you will crush fierce lions and serpents under your feet!4 The Lord says, “I will rescue those who love me.I will protect those who trust in my name.5 When they call on me,

What do you do with the pieces you have left from this brokenness? What do you do with what is left over after everything you had planned has fallen apart?

It feels like life will never be okay again. It feels like this can never work out. It feels like you will always be hopeless, you will always be lost, you will always be a mess. But, honey, do you think God, in all of his wisdom and power, ever planned for you to spend the rest of your days in pieces? Although it may not look like it and it may not feel like it today, God was fully aware of today’s circumstances when he promised, “I have plans to prosper you, not to harm you. I have plans to give you hope and a future.”

What are those plans? I don’t know exactly. But I do know they are plans to use every single thing the enemy intended for harm as good now. Now, you may be asking, how is that even possible? How can this harm be used for something good? This hardship? These ashes? How can it ever be beautiful?

Well, honey, it’s the same way God knit you together in your mother’s womb. He did impossible things bringing all the pieces of you perfectly together. He started with 1 microscopic cell, and divided it to create you with 100 trillion cells. Every day God creates 300 million new cells within you. In one day, the blood pumping through your veins travels 12,000 miles. He created you with lungs that have a surface area the size of a tennis court, so delicately folded within your chest to receive His breath, giving you life. Within 3 months of God beginning to form you in your mother’s womb, he had already given you distinctive fingerprints, setting you apart from every other human ever to live.

Trillions of cells, thousands of miles of blood vessels, miraculous lungs and individual fingerprints … all these pieces he used to create you. And if God put you together in the first place, don’t you think he can put you together perfectly once again?

He did it once, he will do it now.

I can’t understand how God knits a baby together with such perfection, so why would I ever believe my understanding is required for him to put our broken pieces back together today? God will do what only God can do, and he will do it in a way only he can determine, only he can see, and only he can fathom.

And just like miraculously one day that baby is fully formed and is born into this world, one day, our pieces are put back together and we walk healed, restored, renewed, and whole once again. What I’m saying is, Sis, trust him with these pieces. Trust him with what has been broken here. Trust him with all that has fallen apart. Trust him with this massive mess. Trust him with this heart ache. His hands are capable. His hands a strong. His hands are to be trusted.

When he knit you together the first time, he knew he would be knitting you back together after this too. He’s prepared for this healing work.

This morning I received a text from my dear BIG Life sister, Nicky. She’s the one who lost her 38 year old husband in a work accident a few weeks ago. The one left holding a whole lot of broken pieces that look and feel like they will never be put back together again. In her text, she asked me if I knew the story behind the old church song “It Is Well With My Soul”. She said, “it’s a song based on tragedy and clinging to faith within.”

I’ve known the story for many years, but it seems it’s time to talk about it again.

Growing up, I went to church only on Easter. I remember each year sitting by my grandma and hearing her sing this song. She knew the words by heart,

Coming to the final month of this year, maybe you’re a little weary. You didn’t get as far in 2022 as you had hoped. Your progress isn’t as great as you had planned. You’re disappointed that your reality doesn’t measure up to your goals for this year. I don’t know, maybe you didn’t show up like you should have. Maybe you got lazy. Maybe you gave up. Maybe life happened and there wasn’t a lot you could do about it.

Regardless, coming to the end of a year with a bit of disappointment makes it really hard to get excited about the potential of a brand new one on the way. But God has asked me to give you a shot of adrenaline in your soul. Are you ready for your Holy PepTalk to walk into the final month of this year with renewed resolve, supernatural strength, and fired up faith?

Oh girl, we’re about to build some momentum here! We’re about to move through where the enemy hoped he would get you stuck! We’re about to step on up when the thief planned for you to step down.

Put your white flag of surrender away. SIS, YOU’RE NOT GIVING UP HERE!!!!! You won’t be surrendering what God has given you. You won’t surrender this seed of hope growing within you. You won’t surrender the energy God has supplied you. You won’t surrender a desire to live up to your potential and thrive in the good plans your creator has for you. There will be no white flags waving here!

A fully surrendered life to God strips us of all white flags of giving up and letting the enemy win. WE DON’T GIVE UP! WE DON’T QUIT! WE DON’T LOSE HOPE! THAT’S NOT WHO WE ARE!

We look to Jesus who Hebrews 12:2 describes as “the author and finisher of our faith.”

Jesus showed us how to face every hardship, struggle and trial in life, and never give up. He is the author of our faith. The pioneer. The one who made the way and leads us today. And he is the finisher of our faith. The power is in his hands to make all things happen. Everything we’re believing in, everything we’re hoping for, everything we have prayed for, is all in his nail scarred hands and he can finish it. It’s through our faith that he guides us to make the choices and take the next steps to finish this.

Finish what … every single good thing God has started within us. And you know what that includes … that includes this year!

God is calling you to finish this in faith! Show up with your best and use all he has given you to live up to your potential and make Jesus known.

The temptation is to wave the white flag of surrender and give up on this year.

So, it didn’t happen in 2022, maybe 2023 will be different. Honey, NOTHING CHANGES UNTIL YOU DO.

It’s insanity to keep doing the same things and expect something different. It’s also insanity to keep avoiding the same things and expect something different. You know if you avoid your kitchen sink, the dirty dishes are still going to be there tomorrow. Then guess what, if you keep avoiding that sink, there will be even more dirty dishes. It doesn’t just go away. It doesn’t just get better.

God’s not into snapping his fingers and making everything better. He’s into equipping you with energy, strength, and wisdom to finish this in faith! Girl, you have no idea the progress you could make in the final month of this year. You have no idea the momentum you could create starting today to take you further than you’ve ever been before. This is what God has given you the potential for, now he’s asking you to use it!
