“Cheezborger! Cheezborger!” On this Foodie Friday, WGN Radio’s Lisa Dent is joined by Billy Goat Tavern co-owner Bill Sianis in studio while Billy Goat celebrates their 90-year anniversary. Listen in while Bill shares some of the tavern’s history dating all the way back to 1934 and how people can celebrate along with them.

Here’s video of the October 2016 visit, referenced in this segment, of Murphy the Goat along with Bill and Sam Sianis to what was then WGN Radio’s Showcase Studios in Michigan Avenue’s Tribune Tower. The day before, building security denied access to Murphy unless he wore a muzzle. Not to repeat a curse, Bill, Sam and Murphy returned the next day, with a muzzle, and as history would prove, the curse was broken.:
