Game of Thrones is back.

I was just going to type that and leave you to it but I guess there a lot more shit going on in this show than leaked episodes of our favorite series.

Ammon, Moreno, and Law kick things off with TV Round-Up and the season premiere of GOT. Law answers any and all questions about episode one and washes his hands of any wrongdoing. There’s also Daredevil to touch on as Ammon can only get through a couple episodes while law finishes half the season in one afternoon. Ammon realizes that The Slap is over, Moreno forgets to watch Justified, and we all give our two cents on the season finale of Better Call Saul along with how we think the second season will play out.

Kupka calls in while tripping balls from some random hotel he’s not staying at to update us on the Binge Media Fantasy Hockey League and why everybody should still hate him in the Fantasy Hottie League.

Google Voice delivers a couple more amazing voicemails.

What Did You Watch has our thoughts on I HATE CHRISTIAN LAETTNER, HOME, and a new little segment called Revisit Reviews gives us a chance to catch up with RUSHMORE.

Grab your favorite frosty beverage, the Binge Movie Aftertaste podcast is back! The return of Binge Movie Aftertaste is marked by me being joined for the first time by the one and only Jim Kupka for an epic night of drinking and talking about film. Before calling our guest, Kupka and I spend some time talking about how our week has been, with me mentioning what it was like watching each Fast & Furious movie for the very first time this week. Not a moment too soon, we get Jack Marchetti, the writer/director of the Tribeca Film Festival selection The Evolution of a Gen-X Music Purchaser on the line, and then we are off and running.

Making a film which is about and revolves around music from artists ranging from Weezer to Slayer means you have to get rights. So we spend a little time talking about the trouble that comes with gathering said music rights, and Marchetti tells us how some of these rights were easier to get than others.  We then talk a little about how contracting a degenerative eye disease caused Marchetti to push himself to move from just a writer into also directing his projects.

We steer into a conversation about what went into Marchetti submitting his short film to the Tribeca Film Festival, and how many festivals have been calling him since the film was accepted. All of this plus what Marchetti’s future in film holds, me flubbing the title of the film at least twice, and a game of King Of Hollywood can all be heard in this week’s epic movie making podcast.

The Evolution of a Gen-X Music Purchaser screens for the first time at Tribeca on April 16th. Check out the film’s official Facebook page, and keep an eye out for updates on its still rising wave of success.

Being back on the BingeCast is the cure to all my recent aches and pains as Moreno, Ammon, and I settle in with tons of shit-talk and booze.

We get busy early and often with TV Round-Up and complete disregard we have for The Walking Dead. There’s also tons of other words about The Following, The Slap, Bloodline, and that chapter that was released for the next Game of Thrones book which leads into what we expect from the upcoming TV season.

What Did You Watch is simply all of us losing our shit over FURIOUS 7 for an hour. What was silly, what was awesome, what was with all that ass, what if they ended it differently, what if this guy was in it and that guy wasn’t. We cover it all. Then I lose my composure while reviewing GOING CLEAR: SCIENTOLOGY AND THE PRISON OF BELIEF. I don’t like what I don’t understand and I’m good with that. Ammon also checks out INTO THE WOODS and revisits the first three MISSION IMPOSSIBLE movies for shits and giggles.

SPOILER ALERT FOR NETFLIX’S BLOODLINE

This week I have a very special guest on Monday Morning Moreno, a man who I’ve known for quite some time but is a complete stranger on this kind of show.  His name is Jim Law and he’s bravely battling CanadiAIDS. I will make him a quilt.

After briefly discussing the Netflix original series BLOODLINE on this week’s BingeCast, I wanted to have Law on to discuss, in detail and with full spoilers, the first season of the show.  We start off with an overall discussion of the show, its highs and lows, its premise, then delve right into what an unbelievably amazing performance Ben Mendelsohn turned in as Danny Rayburn.  The guy oozes vileness, seediness and slithering charm consistently throughout the show.

We talk about what could possibly happen in the second season and agree that if they just left this as one season, we’d all be the better for it.
