On today's episode of Bitcoin And . . . I add bitcoin vital statistics to the show and then go on to read a bit of two articles about bitcoin and gaming and pontificate on them. One involves Ubisoft's entry into the Cryptosphere by becoming a member of the "Blockchain Game Alliance consortium" while the other discusses "Mechanics of a Blockchain-Powered Gaming Multiverse".

On today's episode of Bitcoin And . . . I read you Marty Bent's Marty's Bent from October 2nd, 2018. The discussion centers on the recent bitcoin transaction that was relayed from one cell phone to another via TxTenna and then sent to the bitcoin testnet. What a time to be alive!

You can find this Marty's Bent at https://mailchi.mp/1d3d0a060090/martys-bent-october-2nd-2018-issue-330 and you can find Marty himself over on Twitter @MartyBent. Today on Bitcoin and . . . I talk about mycorrhiza and the role it plays as a nutrient and informational network in the soil and how that is analogous to the Bitcoin network and the peripheral analog networks arising alongside it as we go forward.

Today on Bitcoin and . . . I talk about a 2012 project I did that translated a white paper by J. J. Thomson about the discovery of the electron into a 3D animated "demonstration" of the experiment and the apparatus.

Today on Bitcoin and . . . I talk about bitcoin price, what killed Ultima Online's in-game economy and why game developers don't seem to be talking much about using bitcoin and Lightning Network as a stable economic platform.
