Seems that Bill may have had a little too much caffeine this morning... On this Episode - Number Two of Season Two - he goes off on more than a few things that are apparently bugging him. Most of the trash talk is reserved for veggie-based foods, trying to masquerade as things we really like...

That also leads to talk about the words people use to describe all kinds of things, including themselves, their particular life-orientations (is that a thing?), politics and lots more. One example: Don't like the high price of eggs? Buy a few chickens. Weird, we know...

For no particular reason, BJ and Bill thought 24 was a good number of episodes for a "season" of podcasts. Is there even such as thing as seasons in podcasts? We don't know, but that's not stopping us from starting Season Two right here, right now at Episode 25. Does it matter? Not really... but hey, it's our podcast, and we'll do what we want.

So in this episode, there's a run down of some popular sports making it big on TV these days. As of this recording, the NBA All-Star game was just completed, along with big NASCAR races and - yes - pickleball! Bill gets to show off some nuggets of p-ball knowledge, and BJ talks NASCAR racing.

Also, there's an interesting discussion of online (and offline) dating, the process of meeting people, and if the "swipe right / swipe left" way of finding a new special someone is even really a good way to handle such an important process. Give it a listen and let us know what you think!

For reasons still yet to be determined, this Episode - Number 24 - marks the official end of Season 1 of the BJ and Bill podcast. Nope, there's no particular reason for it... no logic that specifies how many episodes are in a "season" ... we just decided 24 was a season. So there's that...

A little bit of just-past Super Bowl coverage in this one, especially the games musical content... meaning the halftime show and very powerful (for us, anyway) National Anthem rendition by Chris Stapleton.

This week, a bit more BJ and Bill history. As every radio-person knows, there are plenty of times “between jobs” in the broadcasting business. For BJ, there were some interesting times spent on a casino cruise in the waters off Southwest Florida. That leads to a big talk on gambling, the lottery and more money matters.

Then, both BJ and Bill share stories of staying in touch with the world with varying degrees of internet connectivity. On the road, off the road, everywhere.

Speaking of “on the road,” BJ goes off on a discussion of highway, rest stop and gas station bathrooms. How do the boys get off on these topics? Hard to say.

After talking about various fast-food stops, their bathrooms and other matters, the conversation ends with a talk on businesses, customer service and more. Bill has a couple stories on getting businesses to respond to really bad episodes of service, especially when it comes to pizza… Bill’s favorite!
